Still in great condition. Door were locked so no inside investigations.Try to park off the road verge as much as possible.

I have to admit, this blockhouse was one of the bonuses of a short tour with the Ceres tourism office. The block house was built by the british to protect the railway line from Cape Town. It was built in the 1899's and it stood the test of time. This particular block house is still well preserved thanks to Wolseley.
