From the time we arrived to when we left the waiters were helpful and even realized we were the before.We had a window seat and spoiled with an amazing view of False Bay.We ordered hake and chips as well as calamari and chips. Both were tasty and we felt the portion size were good. I must metion our previous visit the fish was a bigger portion. Only because I love their fish so much.We have always enjoyed it at Lucky and already looking forward to our next visit.

I ordered the hake and chips, very fresh quality, it tasted like the fish just came out of the ocean. What I would recommend is not to go during peak hours as the place does get quite full (which is understandable). I didn't like that the person who is handling the food boxes, didn't have gloves on but food was handled with correct utensils. Other than that, the prices are quite reasonable. Also, some unique dishes like yellow tail samosas is sold there.. Outside of the store is an amazing artist who is able to create anything thing out of wire.

Great chips, great fish, and the location near the harbor is just wonderful.The seating are not that comfortable and the menu is not very clear in some areas (we ended up ordering way too much food)

What a gem! This restaurant has an amazing view and great fish and chips. Our service was slightly slow but we didn’t mind watching the waves crash through the window.

This is the best food destination in Kalk bay in my opinion. Instantly as we walked in we were welcomed super enthusiastically and the vibe was awesome. I will forever judge hake by the taste of Lucky Fish's. I don't exaggerate when I say that the food is life changing, fresh fish really is something worth going out of your way for. Between our hosts, Mitchell and Sbusiso, we had the most amazing evening in a long time. Keep it up Lucky Fish, you're doing something right ;)

An impromptu visit to Lucky's turned out to be a welcome treat. I had the calamari and chips and was surprised by the large portion size. Really good value for money. My friend ordered a medium plate of chips and it was huge!Service was very friendly and quick and we had a great view of the sea. Weather was a bit wet but this didn't dampen our experience.

Always nice crispy hake and snoek. However today my food arrived mostly cold (and I detest cold chips) and the service could have been better. This place deserves a 4.5 star rating but today was a bit disappointing. Maybe next time I visit Cape Town my experience here will be better! Lovely ocean views.
