Went to dinner tonight, food was absolutely amazing!! I had the ravioli and my boyfriend the lasagne - was divine. We shared halloumi starter and finished off with the best tiramisu I have ever had! Well done guys! Service was great!

Awesome venue nestled in the Benoni Country Club, loads of seating but wildly popular so booking essential,We sampled the table side sliced and prepared sirloin accompanied by perfectly cooked pasta in olive oil,seasoning and then finally finished in the pizza oven, absolutely delicious, As well as the Gamberi pasta which was fresh and tasty.Great outside area with the usual play area for the little ones,As they were exceptionally busy service may not have been perfect but every staff member was certainly giving their best effort to keep everyyhing rolling.Well worth the visit and we will certainly be back.

Best meal I have ever had. I have gotten it 7 out of the last 8 nights I have been here in Benoni. If you don’t order the 300g/400g Sirloin with extra pasta, you’re doing it wrong. Unless you order one of their amazing wood fire pizzas. Don’t forget they have multiple delicious flavors of gelato for dessert (Hazelnut is my favorite). I’ll be going again tonight. The owner (Antonio) stops by your table multiple times per meal and makes sure everything is sorted. Mikayla and the other managers/staff also do an incredible job making sure the food is exactly how you want it. Although I am from the U.S. I have been to Thailand, Portugal, Bahamas, and now South Africa. I’m not joking when I say this is my favorite meal/dinner spot. Go get some!

Food was delicious, service was exemplary, went in afternoon so although not extremely busy, there was a good lunch crowd. Had a birthday and waiters all sang and danced.

Only my second time there, so its still a newish experience. An absolutely awesome spot to enjoy good solid Italian food. The vibe is good and the food is great. I am partial to pizza so that has been my choice on both occasions. They use a wood fired oven and that makes a huge difference. Totally enjoy it. Good variety on the menu for all tastes. Will be going back.

Definitely a must! We went there for my boyfriends 32nd birthday and the whole experience was amazing. The restaurant is an absolute vibe, the staff are friendly and the manager/owner goes out of his way to greet everyone and ensures that everyone has been helped and is having a good time. The food & drinks were delicious and so were the complementary desserts. It definitely spoke to the Italian in me. Molto bello!

Stopped by this spot for a chilled midweek birthday dinner. The staff were incredible. Friendly, festive and efficient. When the birthday singing began it was accompanied by dancing and a good load of laughs. The banter was brilliant. The food was alright, a typical Italian style menu with plenty of options. The general atmosphere is OK, at the level to be expected for the location. The speaker near our table did seem to be dying and so the music was garbled and gruff, as if the people singing had been chewing on bees. But that tinny music did give it a more authentic bistro vibe since it's really a pretty giant eatery inside a country club.

I can't find the right words to explain how the food is at Tonino. Oxtail was amazing ! Ribs was amazing ! Lamb and Steak was amazing ! Talk about soft and juicy and an explosion of flavors ! Om my goodness! We celebrated my Mother and Father in laws Birthdays at Tonino, our table was very beautifully set out with wine etc. Lovely atmosphere. Music was a little bit too loud at one point, but it was a lovely evening. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. At the top of my list.
