Horrible experience. 1) Incorrect diagnosis of problem which meant we drove back to Cape Town with the problem not fixed (In Cape Town, it was quickly diagnosed as a wheel bearing and fixed). 2) In a separate issue, parts were removed and placed in a box for us to have them looked at back in Cape Town. This box never left my car before arriving at our mechanic in Cape Town, and yet when he opened the box, bits were missing. On top of this, messages went unreturned when I phoned Plett Auto to find out if the parts had been misplaced in their workshop. No responsibility was taken for any of the above, not even an acknowledgment of a clearly incorrect diagnosis, and I had to replace the missing parts at my own expense. A costly and very disappointing experience.

The owner over charged me for an oil change. His explanation, while the car is on the lift he charges for the time it is on the lift, even if the mechanic is working on other cars in the mean time.

The starter motor on my vehicle broke whilst I was spending a few days in Plett. These guys could not have been more helpful. Collected my vehicle at 8.00am and had it fixed by 10.00am for my return to Cape Town. Charged a fair price as well.

The staff there are very friendly and extremely helpful. I needed help with an electrical issue and they solved the problem very quickly plus they are very affordable. Highly recommend them!

Horrible service!! We called them because we had a problem they came after 1 min very fast they had a quick lock and said they will send someone after 3 hours we called them they didn’t replied. And no one came

We had car troubles between the toll gate and Plett and Danie from Plett Auto Repairs was very helpful over the phone. When we got to the shop the assistance we received from him and his team was excellent.

We were on holiday in Plett when our car’s aircon ran out of gas. The staff at Plett Auto Repair had our car up and running again in no time. They were also super friendly. I highly recommend them.
