I was in a huge hurry. needed paint and accessories from Universal on a Sunday morning. The website indicated that they are open, but when I arrived, they were closed. Upon inspection, one lovely, friendly man indeed was at work, waiting for clients from Limpopo, who had an appointment. He also assisted me, professionally, friendly, with so much care and diligence, that I spent almost R5000.00!!! This is what SA needs in these times. I never want to support big chain stores and this convinced me again. Good for you!

I had a bad experience at this store and I would never go back (of cos) or recommend it to anyone.After spending over R20K in that shop, I had an incident where they couldn't match the paint for the skating sample I had. When I returned to ask them to dilute or work the paint again, they did ... but wanted me to pay for it. It was a small 1L paint but it just didn't make any sense to pay for something that was their fault (which they denied, even though I had the sample in hand). I had just finished spending so much money so R100 plus wasn't gonna break my bank, but it's the way they handled the matter that shocked me. After spending over 30mins arguing about the matter with the floor manager and the sore manager, I left the shop without the paint (I requested for my refund & left their paint), and they were not apologetic about their behaviour. Appalling service!

Best service and advice. Very efficient and such friendly staff. Even greeted me by my name on my second visit.
