Overlooks the dam which cannot be accessed from the site. Camp site below is party central most of the weekend however they seem to give up the loud music by about 10 pm..Not a bad place to stay but no facilities

The apartments are wonderful. Seriously comfy with all needed comforts from home. But the noise levels from below from the campground was at unacceptable levels. Most campgrounds we go to (and we camp a lot) either have a no music or cut off time for noise policy. Sad for the apartments but sadly didn't get a good night's sleep either of the 2 nights we were here. Checking out early instead of lingering also due to this which means none of the local attractions benefits from our stay on the Sunday.

The camp site adjacent to it is run down, and people are allowed to drink, fight and play very loud music till the early ours of the morning. No control's in place at all. Shouting and swearing is the order of the day. Do not waist your time and money going there, unless you are into this type of chaos.

Booking process easy and friendly. Clean and comfortable unit. Negatives - very noisy at night from campers (music and talking) directly below the complex. Hot water system inefficient. Shocking waste of water waiting for hot water to run through system.

Beautiful relaxing place. Can be very hot in summer. Aircon a must in summer and lots of very good sunscreen. Clanwilliamdam a watersports haven if you have your own watercraft.

Awesome view of the dam, very modern apartments and very secure. Unfortunately the short gravel road to the accommodation is a bit unpleasant.

Big roomy units with all you need for a self catering stay. Wonderful view across the lake of the Clanwilliam dam. Friendly and helpful propioter. Good base when on a Namaqualand flower hunt.
