No complaints. Well looked after and nicely set up with everything you need very close by. Enjoy safari trips, snorkeling and diving, quad bikes, restaurants, bars, shops, swimming pools and lots more.We had a weekend worth writing home about. Keep up the good work Sodwana Bay Lodge.

We didn't stay over but we went to the pool area for lunch and were so impressed. It has been years since we visited and we were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant area was just as we remembered. The service was incredible and the pool was amazing. Highly recommend spending the day if you're in the area. We will be back to stay next time!

Absolutely amazing, definitely a place to stay .We booked a 10 night stay here in December 2022 through to January 2023 and even though we were skeptical after other reviews, we were not disappointed. The accommodation was quite small ( our rooms were in the main house and our kitchen was very small for our groups cooking adventures), we had a group of 4 and had a separate section that had a shared bathroom and kitchen between us(not shared with other guests just our group) and 2 bedrooms with air-conditioning. Nice rooms with wardrobes etc.Our rooms were serviced every day while we were out.We got fresh linen every 2 days ( and I mean fresh sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases etc ) and they washed our dishes every day, which was amazing to come back to completely clean accommodation, especially after a long day on the beach. They even did our personal laundry, folded and placed back in our room. All our goodies left in the room where untouched, including cameras etc. Super safe .The pool was always a perfect temperature, and well needed after beach missions.Only negatives*Cellphone service was bad, but that not the accommodations fault.Maybe they could offer WiFi in future. And the area had some giant cockroaches , but I think they come from the drainage system. They do say they fumigate , but they are still sneaky.Doom is a must ( for foreigners that's bug killer)Overall great experience.Friendly staff, helpful and super sweet.Would recommend if you want excellent service, friendly staff and clean rooms .Just bring some some bug killer for roaches and mosquitoes spray if you are tasty.Other than that, clean rooms and lekka vibes.

Beautiful rustic, well organized and great kitchen in the self catering units. Ablution is good. Comfortable beds and a nice hot rock gas barbecue on the nice sized deck with ample shade.

Absolutely loved Sodwana Bay, the accomodation at Sodwana Bay lodge was great, however a bit dirty as there was webs and crumbs in the kitchen cupboards on our arrival, makes you feel like you want to clean the place before using it. Our trip the entire week was lovely there, we had a lovely house keeper the whole week however on our last day/night there, there was a new housekeeper and I was met with my garments being stolen. We placed a police report and took it up to the manager but nothing was done, Very disappointing to know your privacy gets invaded as there is no do not disturb sign for the days you don't need the helping service. They say they not responsible if anything gets stolen yet the cleaning staff have complete Access to your cottage and sometimes you don't even know who is coming in and going through your stuff when you not there, probably the biggest reason why cleaning doesn't actually get done because they spend more time digging through your personal belongings. You go on holiday yet need to keep everything locked away in your bags for safety. Sad that I spent my last evening very disappointed! I would have given them a 5 star dispite the cleanliness but theft pulled the ratings down!

What an lovely experience, peaceful atmosphere with exceptional service. Well appointed and private cabins. Most memorable is leather backs restaurant, where Cindy and her team makes every meal a Feast!! Great stay will definitely be back again!

Nice and clean lodge. Beautiful animals on site. The wooden floors are noisy when walking around. Outside showers were cool. If you go in summer make sure you take a fan as the ceiling fans do nothing at night.

Great place to stay for scuba diving - houses are wooden, all different and some have great views.Just wish the ones we stayed in would provide a plain top sheet on the beds instead of absurdly thick duvets!
