Spent half a day in the queue in the sun outside when it's completely empty with chairs on the inside and they also ended up helping less than 20 people for collections. Most people ended up leaving that's how we moved forward in the queue, and finally when the door was in reach it was 15:30 and they just locked the door without giving any notice or excuse instead of taking names and ID's for priority collection in future. Everyone in the queue had to leave.It's also absolute rubbish that it takes 10 - 15 minutes on average per person for collections. We should involve our Councilors.

No one communicates with you there. You need to go inside to find out what's happening, only to be told to keep waiting until they call you. And eventually when you get inside the systems are offline. Worst service ever

No point in making a booking, we're told to be on time for our time slot otherwise we have to book again, I get her 15 min before my booking and I'm told I must join the queue outside as they all booked, just another useless incompetent gov dept!

Once you work your way through the queue and you're inside, service is fast and efficient. I applied for my passport on a Wednesday and received an sms the following Monday to come pick it up, even after they said it would take 2 to 3 weeks. I'm impressed! Just wish they'd have more shade to stand in.

They only allow 80 people to apply for their ID's, basically after 08h00, there is no point of one even going to the Home Affairs to apply for one. Bad service.I came back after one day at 06h45 and I was there for 6 hours. No one was helped on that day, because apparently the system was down. I would've appreciated it if they just made it clear that it might not work for the whole day then to not communicate. Bad service.

Been on 2 separate occasions in a month. Once to get my ID done in about 2hrs. Got collection sms in two and a half week's. Went to apply for a new passport done in 2hrs and got collection sms in 3 days! !!!! Takes longer in the UK! ! Sure friendliness of the staff could be better but if I worked there everyday and saw how some of the public treat them I wouldn't be to happy either. Besides it's not a restaurant I just wanted my documents. Well done home affairs! !!!

Everyone doing their best to offer a great service. Yes we all don't want to wait but I have come to realize that everyone has a great attitude and friendly smile. It is also commendable to see the security officers helping out & everyone to the right place. Hope they get developed so they can be employed permanently when opportunities arise.
