We stayed in the Goble Palms guest house for 4 nights and are very impressed with the service and the friendliness of the staff.The house itself is old and colonial, but very clean and tastefully decorated. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off. You can park comfortably within the garden walls and the luggage is brought directly to the room by the always friendly staff.The rooms are cozy, a bit old, but equipped with modern air conditioning, television and comfortable bed linen.The breakfast is really outstanding and is freshly prepared every day according to the wishes of the guests.Special mention should be made of manager Vincent and his brother, who have a great grip on the guest house and are always available for a short chat.

LOVED every single thing about this place! If I'm ever back in Durban, best believe that's exactly where I'm going.The pictures don't do it justice. Location, atmosphere, decor and design are just top tier. Service is immaculate. Vincent was just amazing. So kind and helpful. He showed me multiple times, very patiently at that how to lock and unlock my room from both sides because I was struggling with it. Waited for me the first night I stayed over to show me how to lock the main door before he left. Gave some great recommendations and was just overall so kind and nice to guests. He gets 15 stars. Staff was also so very kind. Pool was incredible. I honestly have only good things to say. Breakfast was great! Like I said only good things. Would highly recommend and if I'm back in Durban, I'll definitely be back.

From the moment I made my booking I was treated like I had arrived. The owners so thoughtful and caring. The staff, God sent; helpful, polite, nothing is ever a big ask. We(myself and children) enjoyed our stay. The breakfast delightful. We had a room with a little private garden and it was adorable. If you ever looking for a place to stay with family especially if you are a single parent travelling solo with child/ren this is a wonderful place. It’s very safe. I’ll certainly be back again and again and again. Will also recommend it to family and friends. A special thank you to Goodman, who made the stay pleasant.

The place is so perfect..it feels like home..the rooms are outstandingly vintage decorated with decorative ornaments you wish to take home. Service is homely, unlike typical hotel environment. Le Anne is just the best..no words. Thank you for hosting us on new years.

Phenomenal experience. If you are looking for an urban retreat that will let you escape from the city then this is the perfect getaway. What a beautiful spot! I'd move in permanently if I could. Goodman was fantastic and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely book here again.

Still early days. I have just checked in. The room is enchanting. This is my second visit and I really love it. The calm *retreat* feel. I would highly recommend this very special guest house. All details loving arranged.
