Dimalachite River Lodge -Vaal river - Parys

The tranquil sound of the Vaalriver, squirrels eat out of your hand. If you want to get some peace and quite I would strongly suggest Dimalachite. Ablution blocks are clean. Swimming pool and Put-put areas are also nice. Friendly staff all around. We would definitely visit again.

Utmost disappointed, after making it clear that we would like to come and fish,we first walk into a look oom that haven't been serviced, this after paying and having to wait for the key, we where gauranteed fishing spot would be within reach... We have been given a spot a good 700meters away from our charlette with day visitor fisherman within 6 meters either side of us. I would never ever recommend this place , we frequent resorts in parys often and this has honestly been my worst experience in coming to parys for a fishing weekend away in a good 9 years.You get sold this amazing picture...that just doesn't exist, resort over crowded. Seems like we are chasing money rather than customer satisfaction.

This is the first place to consider for school camps. The facilitators and activities were excellent. Accommodation clean and food great with large portions for my boys. I will be back again and again!

Excellent fishing on the vaal river. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

The place is amazing but not for fishing. The river runs too fast and all lines get tangled with your neighbor who is right on top of you. Unfortunately we were rained out most of the days we were there. I would recommend for a picknip trip or when it does not rain.

We loved the scenery at Dimalachite and the venue and food was amazing!!The service however was not on point as the booking lady was quite rude and made us feel rushed.Otherwise the staff that took at rafting were fantastic and made us feel really welcome. They took good care of us

The perfect place to reset your soul. So peaceful, except when the 2 buses of school kids arrived for orientation. Overall a pleasant experience, will be back

Where peace and serenity meets. Awe place. The rooms were basic but good for the type of place that it is. Staff on site were friendly. River rafting and other activities were nice. It has everything you need for a good relaxing holiday. Long untarred road so make sure you have all you need grocery wise to avoid having to drive i to town. I did not see a shop on site. Spend the about a week camping.Bathrooms were very clean.Had hot showers every day.Fishing in the river was nice , water was a bit fast, so got stuck a lot.The shop had some things to get you not going to townThe staff came each and every day to clean your braaier and your bin (they were very friendly)Had a power point to plug in.Big clean pool to enjoy.We had a wonderful stay ,Thank you Dimalachite p

Nice but a bit outdated... Most of the offered services were unavailable due to loadshedding according to the notices... A bit overpriced
