Difficult to swim and very little sand. Gorgeous views and great picnic spot.

Great beach, views are spectacular. Swimming is good! (It is a small beach- limited space)

Hidden beach where you can meet and sunbathe with a few local residents as well as foreigners staying in the nearby beachfront bungalows.Enjoy the Sunshine, take a dip in the icy Atlantic before you relax in the evening enjoying a drink of local wine, watching the sunset directly over the ocean in front of you. This is a Magical place!

Nice view but there’s very little beach space. Make sure to take a towel because the water is calmer and you can swim but would only recommend this beach for a sunset view.

A very cute beach! Lots big rocks all around to sit on and watch the sunset from. The water is absolutely refreshing and the waves are tiny - perfect for a peaceful swim. Always have the best time when I come here :) and ladies, feel free to take your top off here :)

Beta beach. Literally no parking so park on main road and follow NSRI sign to beach. Breathtakingly beautiful little beach witth lots of rocks to sunbath on. Gets very packed on a nice day so go early. These are some rare pictures of the beach with no one on it at 10 45am on a Thursday morning. Temperatures was 19 outside with a slight westerly breeze hence a darker looking sea. Usually turquoise blue.Definitely attracts a younger crowd!

This is one of the best spots in Cape Town to catch a sunset. Spectacular views! Parking is limited so factor in time to find a spot. A few steps down to the beach. There are no public ablution facilities unfortunately.

Bakoven Beach
A flat rocky outcropping facing in the right direction to appreciate the setting sun, with the gorgeous twelve apostles mountains as well as camps bay to your back. A great spot for a sunset picnic. Parking can sometimes be a little tricky but once you've found a spot it's just a short walk to find an available spot. It can occasionally be a bit windy and chilly so make sure to pack a jacket
