We loved sleeping over here. Great accommodation, bedding and towels. Spotless, efficient, friendly. Great little restaurant on site to relax in front of the fire! Highly recommended!

Great overnight spot. Went with small kids, huge play area with trampoline and jungle gym. Food delicious with great kiddies menu as well. Rooms beautifully decorated. Will be back.

Celtis Country Lodge & Restaurant
We arrived at Celtis while I was quite sick. The staff were super nice and showed genuine concern. Thank you for your humanity and for having an upmarket place with the best beds we've slept on in ages on holiday. Great restaurant with the perfect variety and breakfast included was exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay over here again.

I have never stayed over, so I cannot rate the rooms. The restaurant, however, is top-notch. The food never disappoints and the staff are always friendly. Celtis is just an all round nice place. The grounds are well kept,the pool is always sparkling, and everything is well looked after.

Superb and surprisingly good place, highly recommended for families. Restaurant’s food was awesome but need to wait for hours to get food, also need to book the table even you are staying there and got food included in it. Staff were very kind enough.

This is an all time classic. The community is very close nit and friendly. The food and service given at the Celtis Country lodge is amazing. You feel at home when staying there.

Celtis Country Lodge & Restaurant
A good and comfortable lodge for an overnight stay. Situated close to the main road in Middelburg in a quieter area. The room was spacious, neat and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious too. The restaurant was casual with friendly servers - and the food was enjoyable (we had a snack platter and hamburgers). Overall I would recommend the lodge.

Our stay was great, the room was eclectic in design and took me back to another era. The food was fresh and well prepared, unfortunately not their fault but the roads leading to their establishment were terrible with multiple potholes, another failed ANC local government unfortunately

What a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed a lovely candlelit dinner at Celtis Lodge and a very comfortable night's sleep at Aloes. The staff are just amazing- from Errol who took care of our arrival to Leta who served us at dinner. We highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for an enjoyable overnight stop.

The lodge has a nice restaurant and pool area, good breakfast, private parking, staff very kind.But the room is simple, very old and shaby, sink uncomfortable to use, no mini-fridge, noise (music) from the restaurant very disturbing inside the room, steep stairs - not fit for everyone.Middleburg is a small town with bad roads and nothing to do. We didn't feel safe driving around.
