Their team was very professional and my furniture was expertly packed and unpacked, with zero damage. Their pricing was also very competitive and was one of the cheaper quotes we received. I highly recommend them for international furniture relocation.

We moved from Johannesburg to Austin Texas in April. Sterdts was exceptionally professional & super efficient. They were thrown into doing our move a week before they were supposed to and they were quick to get going. We were kept informed the whole time as to where and when our shipment was. The shipment arrived on time and had to be stored for a month before being delivered. The team that delivered our shipment were very pleasant and careful. The goods when we received them were in credible condition. There or one or two small. things that broke but overall an incredible experience and would recommend them to anyone.

We have had a great service from Sterdts SA. From the arrangements to move from Ellisras in the Bushveld with Korff, to the tracking of our move with Rijnhard Gagiano with regular updates until handover to the local transporter in New Zealand. The communication along the way was reassuring and even the follow up when our move arrived intact at our door in Napier, was very good. A process that took from April to September and we were kept in the loop continually. Thanks to the Sterdts Team.

We left SA 2022/06/30 for NZ. 2023/02/02 my life is still in that box.Admittedly retrieval of goods went smoothly helpful and friendly team. Quick and efficient taking my life away.Customer service is non existent once the bill was paid, everything went quite(November 2022).Shipment arrives in NZ, there are certain goods requiring inspection. We get a mail, can you please inspect the inventory list to identify where the goods for inspection could be. This is great but we have sent about 10 mails asking for an update without a response.Yes, admittedly I am a difficult client. However just manage the expectation, rather respond to an email telling me the worst case scenario instead of not responding? I also realize this is an extremely difficult space to play in but you guys really need to bump your communication - it is this customers opinion it is not good enough.Something you need to realize when moving across the world, the moving company have you by the short and curly and there is absolutely nothing you can do about bad service. You can write emails, make phone calls but what does this help? Make sure you know who you are dealing with and make sure you trust them.

Finally, a service provider that delivered (pun intended) on their promise.We had moved before and it was a disaster. So we were nervous and on guard this time. Having used another shipper to get from Johannesburg to Cape Town, our stuff arrived damaged. And because we didn't do all our checks properly, we had little or no claim to anything.But STERDTS were UNREAL! And the move was from Cape Town to Auckland in New Zealand - a loooooong way. Their packers were on the ball, worked fast and got our stuff out the house on the day we needed them to. Our stuff arrived in New Zealand WITHOUT A SINGLE SCRATCH, let alone undamaged. I was more surprised there was no damaged, than I would have been if everything had arrived in pieces.The staff were friendly and communicated frequently. Moving is stressful, and even though it took a long time for our stuff to arrive (shipping delays, custom delays etc), STERDTS let us know every step of the way. Thanks Natasha in particular.I have no issues reccommending them.

The team was very friendly and helpful.But I was very surprised when they came and asked me for tools to dismantle the various shelves.As they had put my toolbox already away luckily I had my my Swiss army knife and I unscrewed everything with it.
