Gannet Drone Fishing

1/5 do not recommend. bought a $5k+ gannet black. they gave it to me cheaper than rrp when i tried to cancel(said 8 weeks delay, tried to cancel at 6), many months later it arrived broken and after date, no signature required which they swore black and blue would'nt happen again and again and it nearly got stolen it arrived with plastic chunks in motors, gimble unresponsive, dropper did not respond, camera was 480p not 1080p and battery lasted 3 minutes with 3kg(rated for max 8kg, was rated for 10kg when bought) no manual, no batteries and no spares i requested and paid for(forgotten). batteries sold seperately, drone was faulty so after months of arguing with the gannet rep kurt he ageeed to take it back on warranty(tried to get me to keep the faulty drone more than once, instead of returning it they opted to forward to NZ for ANOTHER CUSTOMER as i was told. so now i'm stuck with $500 of batteries that can't be returned and the knowledge that they sent me a broken drone on purpose and tried to sweeten the deal by me having a few hundred bucks and causing me months of stress.i had a horrible drawn out experience and i am not alone. i warned them i would post my review of them around. they did not argue.i have video i made to test the gannet black and it's not working parts, waste of time. also have full convo between myself and kurt from gannet if anyone wants a read before they buy.if anyone wants proof or the convo or video i can easily dropbox share it, just ask.

I recently purchased the reliable Gannet Sport for my Dji phantom 3 pro.. This product is a manual bait release clip and it has exceeded my expectations. Not only has it opened up so many new fishing opportunities that were previously out of reach, it has consistently dropped sizeable baits in a variety of conditions and rewarded me in the process with some good fish. Used my bait release for the first time on the Mavic 2 Pro, On one of the releases we tested on land, the side clip popped off, on inspection I noticed a small internal part snapped off. Product was never used prior to this day. Repair said to be at my cost because it's 10 days out of warranty.

This is looking more and more like a scam. Placed order over 2 months ago. I was Told they have power outages for 10 hrs a day, cant get supplies and then other emails they send me when I ask for an update say they are testing it and should ship in a day. DO NOT give them your $$. Tried calling and call doesn't go through.

Terrible experience with a gannet pro drone, please for your own sake find another brand of drone. After doing everything in the book my drone didn't connect to the app on my phone like it was meant to, and never recorded flight logs. The drone failed and was lost at sea.Gannet will not even consider a warranty because the flight log didn't record which is the fault of their own product.It's a very expensive bit of equipment not to work properly. I don't think they understand people save all year to buy something like this. Terrible experience.

Got a Drone Fishing Release for my Mavic 2 Pro, it is absolutely awesome!

Ordered yesterday morning, told them I have plans this weekend and they decided to overnight it. What a great team you guys have!!! Seriously amazing service! Will highly recommend
