Always a very long queue... just a bit of planning can solve the problem. Keep a separate queue for lay-buys. The cash sales are quick ... so keep that queue flowing fast. Currently people who are paying cash, just walk out because of the long wait.

Very poor service and long queue. Only one person at the till and does lay buys wich takes forever. I see that other people did leave a review and mentioned this and nothing has been done about it. Manager is so rude and stands at the door chatting to other staff members. This Ackermans is really pathetic when it comes to customer service and head office seems to do nothing about it.

What a nightmare! Frustrated customers in long queues and very unprofessional service from the staff. Manager playing security guard at the entrance and refuses to sort out problems at the paying station even if you ask him to.Only one person helping at the paying station.Terrible and unpleasant experience and avoid this store at all cost.

I was in Parys Ackermans this morning. I find there cashiers very unhelpful. One was busy scanning what seem to be phone cards. The other one also busy with admin. I asked if there was a bell a could ring for assistance. He said, no. I pulled a chair from the shoe section closer and sat down. Started playing games on my phone. I ethnic lady jumped the que to buy a phone. The security gentleman called a lady to come and assist me. Thank you for his help, but the overall client service is appalling. .

I've stopped wasting my time going to this shop, I rather drive out of town either to Potchefstroom or Vaal Mall. So many tills and find one person on the till with a queue a mile long.
