I was so grateful to be invited to join one of these sessions, one that was specially designed for freelance professionals. It was a great way to gain a shift in perspective and like opening some windows in the way I work, just when I was feeling a bit stuck and demotivated. It was helpful just hearing how other people operate and what their hurdles or even successes are and be able to relate to that. There were some tools that I found particularly helpful and have now integrated into my daily routine/practice. Thanks Paula!

Wow - what an incredibly positive experience I had with Paula in one of her Reconnect Sessions! Prior to this opportunity I had been struggling for a while with uncertainty, unworthiness, mistrust, isolation, anxiety and a big disconnect.The lack of motivation and inspiration stemming from this has been one of the most frustrating lows I had experienced. It was difficult to get out of my mind and find clarity to the “why now” and “when will this end” questions. This particular period in time had been challenging but not any worse than other troubles I have faced in life. So why had it felt like a never ending mountain that was throwing all the elements my way?Upon some reflection, and in large thanks to the space Paula held for us, I came to realise the magnitude of trauma we have all been through in the past 2.5 years had culminated into this particular period for me. It had been enhanced by further uncertainty and circumstances during that time that required another deep dive into a tank, already running on fumes, to find the strength and resilience to go on.What Paula made me realise in the powerful space she held, is that when you feel disconnected - find a way to reach out and reconnect. There is always a way. Every brave, beautiful woman I met that day had their own struggles to share and many of them similar to mine. And wow it felt empowering to share it all with each other! That morning felt like the mountain got a little easier to climb, because we were in it together.The energy I felt from the courage to share their stories had a profound effect on me. In the depths of my soul, running on the fumes I was trying to move forward with, a spark ignited.These women inspired me and made me feel heard, seen and understood. Complete strangers who have become an important lesson in my story. They became the flow to my ebb that day and I am so grateful for Paula and IntaConnect Consulting for her guidance, support and compassion.A big thank you to the other ladies too for their courage to share and helping me to reconnect. I hope this helps someone out there in a small way.Bottom line is - Reach out, share, hold space, express yourself, reconnect… and do it all with a little more love than you’d usually give.
