Ignite Fitness Rosebank

Looking at the reviews here it is clear that Ignite Gym could not care less about the issues being raised by its members who pay to use the facilities. The Aircon issue has been a problem since day one. ZERO COMMUNICATION has been provided to its members about why and how they intend fixing it. The manager has no answer or clue on how to address this. The signs that was once visible stating there was a ventilation problem has since been removed while the problem still exists. I know tons of people who have raised this concern to staff members but NOTHING has been done. This gym is a joke. You better off going ANYWHERE ELSE. One of these days - someone is going to faint and get hurt because of the poor ventilation and I hope when they are sued - someone reads this message in court.

Joined this gym in October and they’ve promised to fix the Aircon since the day I joined. It’s honestly so uncomfortable working out in such a hot space. I would love to cancel my membership without being forced to pay a cancellation fee because according to me they’ve failed to deliver on the one thing I asked about before signing the contract. If they can’t deliver on a promise why should I be forced to pay.There’s constantly excuses every time anyone questions the aircon situation.I was just told to go and rather workout on the rooftop if it’s too hot.

Joined Ignite Rosebank in July 2022 and the aircon hasn’t worked a day! The Gym is extremely HOT and makes it impossible to exercise in these conditions ! We have complained various times and management simply ignores it

What’s happening? Google and staff say gym opens at 6am. Still closed. Staff sitting outside waiting.

We have never belonged to this gym.Two debit orders went of my account today.This is fraud!!!!Please publish the name of their CEO for my benefit (and the police)This matter will be dealt with swiftly.

No aircon for 9 months, there's no airflow in the gym at all. I've asked repeatedly for you to sort out the aircon, besides you only reply to good reviews. 15 of my clients are at this gym, I will get them all to move to Ferndale.

Great promise at the start , but really bad now. The aircon has never worked in the gym. Every week a diffrent excuse as to why it still isn't fixed. So called trainers just stand around and talk to each other, rather than assisting clients. Don't join this gym.

I see I am not the only one to post about this but I really hope that management realises the damage these contract promoters cause.I was not told about numerous ‘extra clauses’ that were in the ignite fitness contract.This month I am being charged an additional amount on my debit order because it was processed a day earlier. Even though every month previous it has gone off on the same day. As a student, I do not always have money in my account and cannot pay at whim. I was told that it will be taken the same time every month by their staff previously.The financing and front desk have excuses and were more happy for me to leave the gym then to allow me to speak to management about this issue.It is clear ignite is more happy about losing their customers than addressing issues.

Don't join......after not being able to enter the gym for owing R50.00 because they debated my account earlier then my deduction date due to the holidays"... And the people at the front dest of being no help they just stand and stare at you like you like you owe millions for over a month.I wish they could help with the air conditioning as fast as they block your account for R50.00 but that's a farfetched dream. They only care that you pay not of you happy with your gym experience."

Best gym in Johannesburg!I love this gym! The equipment is brand new and extremely clean. The bests are the staff are friendly and very helpful!I don’t know why not more people are using this hidden gem!
