At the Woods Guest House Tsitsikamma Storms River
We stayed here last winter. This is a great stop if you are visiting the Garden Route. The location is good, with a restaurant next door and only a few minute drive away from the Tsitsikamma NP. Staff was very friendly and we got great breakfast in the morning. Also the rooms were very cosy and provided with a fridge and even cable television.

This is a little gem of a guest house. Its listed as a 3star property but it easy has the look and feel of a 4 star guesthouse. The interior is nice a stylish. They have there own restaurant next door with a small but fine selection of foods and drinks.Breakfast is good and well presented.

Great decor style, especially in the breakfast room and very well kept grounds. The bedroom was a bit cold but there is heating via the air conditioning. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty, hotel staff very friendly.

Reception and room reeked of dampness/mould. The door had a ventilation panel which basically removed any sound proofing - could hear neighbour coughing their lungs out the whole night. Found slimy worm in the room in the morning. Breakfast was basic at best. Would not recommend.

Our room was big and cosy, especially the bath room was modern and nicely decorated. The Guest House is well located in a walking distance to all the cafes and restaurants in Storms River VillageThe staff was very nice and welcoming.Breakfast was good with choice of warm breakfast portion with coffee and cereal + toast.Unfortunately we could hear noises from the upstairs room in the night. They could try to improve the noise insulation of the ceiling.

What a lovely place (see pics) and Wendy makes it so easy to like even more with all the good advice, recommendations and even sitting down on the balcony and having a lovely conversation.Large room (for 3), a big balcony (but we've used the large communal balconies for the company).Big & tasty Breakfast!!! I gained a few kilos there, I'm sure, between the fruit salad, eggs and other options.We didn't get to use the pool but the sun deck was tempting.There are so many sitting areas we didn't even get to use them all.Thank you for the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay in the village. At the woods was a lovely place to stay. Huge rooms, big bathrooms with amazing service. We were very well looked after. Very simple but a perfect little getaway. Breakfast was also very good!

At the woods was just what we wanted. The rooms were perfect, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant next door, food was great. Staff friendly, helpful and happy and we all really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a pleasure. Thanks very much.
