Artscape Theatre Centre

The Theatre on the inside with walls adorned with South African artists works is inspiring. The Theatre is in good condition with lovely comfy seats. The sound system works well as I sat in row FF but couls still hear everything clearly.Parking was a nightmare on the day I visited as prople who attended The Stormers match parked on the parking lot. This caused me and many other people to miss the beginning of the show which was really tragic. Theatre management need to only allow people with tickets to park in the underground parking so this does not become the norm. The show We will rock you was fabulous on every level.

Wonderful experience. Saw latest show Queen:We will rock you... had terrible wine but show was out of this world. Getting out was crazy!! No one to regulate traffic into Hertzog Boulevard. Really a big problem.

After so many years still a privilege to visit this fabulous theatre and to attend the productions. Queen and Carmen outstanding.

We watched the Nutcracker and it was an absolute masterpiece. I’d suggest using Uber to the Theatre as you will struggle to find parking. The building is well kept (always neat and tidy). The staff is extremely friendly and more than willing to assist with any and all questions. They have an option to order your food and drinks for the intervals even before the show starts - I would highly recommend ordering before hand to avoid the long busy queue at intervals. The bathrooms are extremely clean too. The place overall is absolutely stunning. (Side note: Strictly no capturing pictures nor videos were allowed when the show started - I love the idea of this especially for ballet because you genuinely have to be in the moment and take in all the emotions you feel while watching the stunning piece being performed).

Watched two shows along with my wife, brother, and sister in law. Really enjoyed it.

We will Rock You - and blimey they did!!!Absolutely an amazing performance - do yourself a favour and see this show. Great cast, best music and choreography. Don't miss out. Grab your tickets before it's sold out !!!!
