Thornbay Accommodation
We loved our stay. The cottage is clean, tidy, fully equipped self catering. Amazing routes to walk and mountain bike. Pet friendly as well as restaurants in the area. Tranquil and beautiful views right from our balcony. Michelle and Pieter are super friendly and lovely hosts. Will definitely return.

Magnificent view! Clean. However, beds not good! Need to supply bath towels and not beach towels for use in the units. Breakfast not good, and butter rancid!

Excellent accommodation, neat, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet little westcoast town. Not over crowded by tourism activities.

Just excellent. The accommodation is quaint, clean, and well organized. The breakfast was brought to our room and we enjoyed it while watching the stunning view early morning - cannot imagine a better way to start the day. The hosts were friendly and super helpful - assisting with driving directions and dinner bookings. We will be back. We loved it. Such a peaceful place.

Stayed here on our way back to Cape Town . What a viewWe stayed upstairs and had wonderful views of the ocean and a wonderful sunsetThe rooms had storage areas and were adequate. Main bedroom had double bed and other room three quarter beds. Main bedroom had views over the ocean.The patio was undercover and had a braai. We bought some fish from the fish shop behind the accommodationIt's a small place so everything is walkable. We walked to shops, harbour and the beachIt was easy to book, quick responses and place has everything you need

Excellent beach front location. Fully equipped self catering accommodation with private stoep and braai area.There is a fish shop at the back of the accommodation which stocks a huge variety of fish and sea food of excellent quality.We bought cray fish from the shop and prepared it for dinner in our unit.Highly recommended

Only a few rooms have a view towards the ocean. Ours had a view to a water tank and everybody can see inside. It was tiny and the furniture looks like from a children's room.The personal was very unfriendly. Further the WLAN is incredible expensive there, you pay for every 100 MB.The location is quite good, but the accommodation not worth a visit.
