Meriton Suites Kent Street, Sydney

Very disappointed with our recent stay. Three of us all booked the same rooms. We did not get the same rooms even though we paid the same amount our room was tiny in comparison.tried to discuss with the front desk they were going to call me back during our stay but never did. The window didn’t seal properly it was freezing in our room. Could barely open the shower screen door because it was so close the toilet had to squeeze in there. The whole passage smelt of cigarette smoke. The only good thing was the location.

We choose to stay at higher level to get a better view and the result we got a very nice apartment with amazing view.The apartment was spotlessly clean. Kitchen well equipped including full size fridge. All utensils seems new for me.Washer and dryer were provided together with liquid detergents.The beds and pillows were very comfy.If you need more Coffee, tea, sugar even salt and pepper , just called receptionist they will happily to provide more.Rice cooker can be provided upon request.Arrival lounge can be used after check in , while waiting for the room to be prepared.Thank you for Ms. Rita, Ms. Ana, Night manager Mr Sagar and all person who work at this apartment. Thank you for giving us such a lovely holiday.

We stayed 6 nights in a one bedroom apartment located on a high floor with views to Anzac Bridge and beyond. The room was a very good size and completely self contained

The location was perfect for me, right near Darling Harbour, just a short walk to the QVB and the light rail stop into the city to see the sites.It is really terrific value for money and I am very impressed with the good layout of the room. The well-equipped kitchenette and washer and dryer. All equipment was clean and new . It is evident the one who had designed and equipped the kitchen was a decent cookStayed for a month, never felt like a hotel, Rooms were spacious, modern, large, clean and fresh. The bed was super comfortable The location was perfect with many restaurants available within a short walk.My plans changed at short notice because of the business meets in Melbourne, meaning had to extend our time in the city. Explained about situation, and was accommodated with no fuss.The hotel itself was very clean and tidy in every part we saw. My room was great, very spacious, clean, everything I needed was available, and nothing seemed too much trouble for the friendly staff, It was one of the rare times that I took the trouble to empty out my suitcase (instead of living out of it). The room is well appointed. Some additional amenities were available upon request.Lovely pool and Spa just need Spa to be a bit hotter

We are groups of 4 staying in Meriton for 5 days on 21-25th Jun/2023.One star is for good location which can travel around city without car; another star is for good facilities in the room which contains washing machine and dryer.HOWEVER, what I paid is not what I get. Firstly, we paid extra $$ for room cleaning service and assumed cleaner will tidy up everyday. It didn’t give us clear instructions until checked in, and front desk told us that only clean the room for every 3 days. On the 3rd day, no one came to clean our room, and my friend’s room didn’t clean it thoroughly, no vacuuming and hair just left on floor.Secondly, the WI-FI connection only worked on the first day and didn’t work until the day we checked out. I saw similar reviews before booking this hotel but never expect that this is a regular issue. It makes us and all travellers very disappointed and felt inconvenience for the poor network.In short, I have no ideas why it gets high rating just because of the location. Such charges and location can have various choices in Syd CBD.

What a great stay! The room was well presented, clean and welcoming. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the small details just were missed. Despite arriving a few hours after Check In Time, our room wasn’t ready. The arrivals lounge wasn’t accessible and it would have been so good to see Doorman and BellBoys welcoming guests on arrival.The rooms seems designed for seasoned travelers though missing the extra little details; instructions for using the various appliances, lifts, and a few more options on rooms and beds.We enjoyed our stay, and loved the flexibility of the kitchenette, pool and facilities.

Paid for two nights stay so I could check in early on arrival.Instead they cancelled my booking while I was on the flight, and kept the first nights charge without refunding. They then charged me an even higher rate for the second night for the room which I'd already booked.These people are crooks.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner as we were in Sydney for the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert.Checked in late Wednesday night and the staff member working, Junior, was extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely wonderful service from him! Please pass on our thanks and gratitude!!The one-bedroom suite was fantastic! Spacious, clean and perfect for two people. Bed was super comfy!!Pool, spa and sauna were wonderful for a bit of of chill time as well.Location is perfect as well. Circular Quay not far away, and major shopping area close by. And for further trips, town hall station is around the corner and super easy to jump on a train to wherever ya need to go.Seriously happy with our stay and only wish we could’ve had a couple of extra days to soak it all inThank you for a wonderful stay, which just added to the overall experience of our Sydney trip! We will definitely be staying here when we make it back to Sydney again.

Great in-room amenities. I love the fact that the appliances are what you would expect of serviced apartments, and it was very convenient to get the dishes done and cook during our stay. The view was also great. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing place to stay in Sydney. Stayed three nights for vacation with family. Tidy, nice rooms with all equipment we needed. Needless to speak, the view from the balcony is perfect, esp at the sunset time! Thanks for the great service!!!
