Every time we've ordered, the restaurant indicates that the food is ready but then makes the Uber Eats or Bolt Food driver wait for half an hour or more. Then the customer gets angry at the driver rather than the restaurant.

Initially impressed when I first ordered, but they could not retain that way, a pity. The food I ordered today was terrible. I was impressed by the first 2 deliveries from Shawarma House Steenberg, a halaal option we found on Bolt Food, both deliveries food was fantastic.Todays order had old fries, horrible, bad presentation as well.

Ordered through Mr D, the food was quick and still very warm. the chips were crunchy and soft on the inside. i ordered 2 chicken shawarma's the chicken was cooked and spiced well, the pita bread was soft and there were just enough vegetables in the shawarma for a crunch. very pleased and will order again.

I ordered a Tikka chicken mayo roti Gatsby via bolt food from this place and this is what I got. I was shocked when I saw how many pieces of dry chicken I got. The worst Gatsby I ever bought. Was my 1st time buying from this place and omg its going onto social media. Please stay away from this places!

Horrible - ordered the buy one, get one free tandoori chicken roti Gatsby via Uber Eats.Chips was clearly re-fried, not fresh at all, roti was dead hard - Hardly ate of the Gatsby. What a waste. Never again.

Ordered via MrD.Biggest mistake!!Food was bland and under seasoned - absolutely tasteless. We also received bread rolls instead of naan!!Will never order from there again. Waste of money. Lousy experience!!

Chicken tikka roti gatsby barely had any chicken, and the chips seemed like it was old. I didn't even enjoy what was given to me, so thus I would not recommend

Ordered falafel and swarmas, order was delivered in time BUT everything was cold, chips don't look like it was freshly made chips, no contact number listed to call them.Don't think we will order there again.
