ATKV Head Office

Had a slight issue with my booking that i made through a third party. The Office was very friendly and helpful, answering any and all questions I might have. Excited for my visit next month- if the resort’s service is anything like the head office’s is, it’s going to be amazing

To have to hold on for over 20mins when phoning head office and still no assistance is not on, there websites for ever have issues.

My wife and I booked for AKTV for the 19/10/2018 until 22/10/2018. We have made use of AKTV natalia twice before, once with friend from Britian and once with my father. The experiences were pleasant. Unfortunately not this time. We checked in on Friday 19 October 2018 with the intention of my father of 90 been with us for two nights so that we could celebrate his 90th birthday, the 20th and 22nd. Our first night was honestly horrific. There was an odd smell in the room when we checked into it. We thought this maybe that the windows had been closed for sone time. We opened all the windows, but the bad smell increased. At 10PM that evening, the smell became unbearable and when I intended to shower I noticed that the bathroom was semi flooded with foul smelling water that was leaking from the back pipe of the toilet. My wife recently underwent a full knee replacement with a wound that is sensitive to detrimental infection and if she were to slip in this water, dire consequences to this procedure could have resulted. I am a chronic Epileptic and a fall could of also been significantly dangerous, especial if I were to bump my head and trigger a a serious seizure.  The sickening smell rapidly increased and so did the water leak. I reported this to a gentleman at the gate. They could not repair this as it was a main sewage pipe from above. we moved to the room next door as there was no other available or suitable. To add to our woes there was a school tour in the apartments above with unbelievable noise levels. The apartment was also not serviced and there was black mold in the bathroom. There was still and odor emanating from the apartment next door. My fathers 90th birth day did not happen, as he could not stay with us. We were told that they are sorry but the building is old. So pleased to leave and get on our flight home. SAD SAD!

Lovely guys there

The stay was not pleasant. Noise until 03h30 in the morning not being addressed. In the accommodation, the shower and bathroom door could not be closed. Broken chair nearly injured one of the guests.

Excellent service, fast and efficient

Very bad customer service experience. Been asking for a senior person to contact me for weeks now and still nothing.

I visited Buffelspoort, Klein Kariba and Drakensville a few times. Everytime I paid cash or card. Now I want to become a member and pay the R1050-00 once of. Now they want my banking details. All they say is that it is a requirement but can't tell me why it is a requirement. Something smells fishy.

Made booking , received confirmation and quote, paid deposit, and later balance a month before the time, only to arrive at the resort being assisted by unfriendly, unsympathetic , unprofessional staff and duty staff that cannot make a decision based on what they see on the screen, staff need to realise the following, it is us ,the public using these facilities at the excessive rates and never available accommodation , that keeps the resort running, without the membership fees and accommodation rates being deducted annually that keeps it staffed, yet they treat people like ****, as if they own the resort, PATHETIC SERVICE, mailed Schalk but will also net get response, this is how furious i am as i am looking for contact details of their MD, Directors, CEO
