So lovely! Very well laid out, comfortable bed and linen..neat as a pin. Shaded in the afternoons. Aircon, everything you need. An absolute pleasure! And sweet touches like complementary wine and chocs. Shaded parking, peaceful and relaxing

Nice farm atmosphere except for road being close by. In the Swartland wine route. Great venues and restaurants to visit.

What a fantastic location and experience. Self catering at it's best. No hassles or worries just show up and relax. The Farmhouse suite was tip top and very comfortable. Thank you from our family.

Was a bit worrrying that when we arrived at the gate that not one of the 3 phone numbers we rang were answered. Thankfully, Benny (manager?) saw us from the main guesthouse and let us in.Aside from that, and the traffic noise from the road, my stay was an absolute pleasure. The accommodation was clean, neat and surprisingly luxurious. Comfortable beds, really nice bed linen, decent sized rooms and everything worked. The cottages are well stocked and they really have thought of everything you may need in a self-catering setup - an example being a pair of scissors in a kitchen drawer - which most people don't think of!There were little touches as well which were most appreciated - budding fresh roses in a vase on the kitchen table; milk in the fridge; real filter coffee; binbags; plug-in mosquito repellent; wall heaters; extra blankets; books in the living area and in the bedroom (an absolute winner for a bookworm like me!) and even disposable shower caps in the bathroom.We met David, who arrived every morning to sweep and tidy outside, clean the braai grids and sort out the braai area - also very appreciated - such a nice man.One small suggestion to those that arrange the cutlery though - if you can please make sure that you supply a larger knife that can actually cut (potatoes, meat, whatever) as all of the larger knives were quite flimsy and couldn't cut a straight line through anything we were prepping for our braai/potjie - and we ended up having to use a teensy veggie knife to get through everything.I would happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone.Fern, Cape Town, South Africa

Nice and relaxing

What a spot to relax. Close to Riebeeck Kasteel and their wonderful restaurants and wine farms.Cottages are very well equipped, clean and well organized.Take a walk and see the beautiful Limousin cattle...delicious organic steak in the making.For the bird viewers, a nice array of local species.Highly recommended

Great place to get away from everything

If you are looking for a quiet getaway then I definitely recommend Klein Eikeboom, such a beautiful and peaceful farm, and well equipped with everything you could need for a long weekend! We stayed in the farm house and Manor which accommodates 10 people, the rooms are beautiful and the black out curtains make sleeping in a dream!! make sure you bring board games and a good book!
