Perfect spot for breakfast or lunch while in town. Fresh veg, fruit, some meat products, bakery etc. The real treasure are the fresh cook to order products. Pizza, burgers, grilled chicken. Salad bar, breakfast bar....The list goes on. A real gem.

Always a pleasure coming here. The sushi is always fresh and the salmon is amazing. I especially enjoy their salmon roses. The services is great and quite efficient. Definitely recommend stopping here.

A stunning layout with so many different food options for affordable prices. Absolutely love visiting this place! Their giant cookies and strawberry juice is definitely something I would recommend. Their fresh toasted paninis are also really good.

You can find a variety of foods here. They sell fresh fruits and vegetables and they sometimes run the same sales as bigger Food Lovers Market stores. Bread is baked fresh daily and you can choose from a range of Portuguese rolls to German rolls. The space is clean and adheres to COVID-19 protocols. The security man stands at the entrance and sanitises your hands and greets customers with a smile. Some of the staff at the bakery and at the tills could be friendlier. Some times they help customers with not such a good attitude. You can also grab ready made meals here such as pizza, chicken, pasta, salad, chopped fruits, muesli, sandwiches and more. Grab your healthy snacks on your way out.

Food Lovers Market is a bit strange. They are very popular in SA as a more premium version of the mainstream supermarkets but are a long way off Whole Foods Market, or even a larger deli, in places like London or Paris.Whilst they thrive off the limited competition, their selection of specialist foods, craft drinks, vegan delicacies, Indian foods could be so much better; the salads all open are of questionable quality and the dietary requirement labelling is poor. The bread is a particular unforced error, with long ingredient lists full of weird stuff - indeed this is common with a lot of their pre-prepared food it is as if management thinks their target market does not bother reading the label - I think its a fatal misunderstanding of the psychology of the market they will need to better penetrate should they wish to increase margins and footflow.I like them, but if they do not raise their game and rest on their laurels I'd be very unsurprised to see an international competitor or domestic startup enter the market and compete them out. It'll happen quicker than they think, as the 'edge' of fresh supply chains providing exciting products are not swiftly established, so once a competitor does it they may find the current brand legitimacy they enjoy gets swiftly eroded and they'll come to be seen as yesterday's shop.

I’m ecstatic that this grocery store is around the corner from my place. It’s my new go-to! Fresh fruits and vegetables, a HUGE assortment of mixed nuts and dried fruit (perfect for a snack), and lots of prepared foods to grab on-the-go.It was pretty easy to find everything and the checkout was quick. I didn’t buy much meat but one thing my friend realized was the lack of raw chicken to cook at home which we found odd. I also just wanted a simple instant coffee (gross I know, but sometimes it’s just easy), but couldn’t find any there. The cous cous prepared dishes were way too salty, but the pasta salad was pretty good for a lunch to-go.

Everything here looks delicious. Fresh and tasty. Very clean, huge range. But food and drink here and go have a lovely picnic in the gardens. Very budget friendly. Loads of healthy choices. Some naughty indulgences, too.

Not to be confused with the Roeland street branch as they are very different. Great place to grab lunch, offers a wide range of warm food from their buffet counter. Food is of good quality and taste. If you don’t want from the buffet then rolls, burgers, fish and chips and pizza (full of fillings) are on offer. They also offer a separate salad bar if you feel like being super healthy. One of my go to places for lunch for the past few years.
