We ordered 2 currys tonight, a Mountain Goat curry as well as the Wild Mushroom curry along with sambals. Wow, they were next level. Highly reccomended.

A super cozy little restaurant that serves delicious Indian food. The decor is quirky (the stuffed toy hammerhead shark for example) and the service is friendly. The portions are generous so come hungry. We will definitely be back…

Well I visited Cape Town last month and found curry club is one the best restaurants which are serving Indian Food. The overall taste was delicious great ambience and the lovely people who are serving the dishes with a nice smile on their face. I visited more than twice at this place just to enjoy the relaxing and repeated deliciousness of Indian food. And I think it’s the only place in CapeTown where you can found the ‘Missi Roti’.

Great meal and lovely service. The chicken tikka sauce was nice and creamy and the poppadoms were crispy. Definitely recommend!

What a lovely place. Even from outside the decor gives you a feel of real attention to detail and investment in their business.Inside is just the same, lovely interior makes you feel welcome and as if you are entering someone’s house.Staff were well informed and the owner plays a key role in the business. Food tasted fresh and full of flavour. If you don’t like your food hot, make sure you ask for mild as medium can be a bit hot for some. I had their Swordfish special and it really did melt in my mouth.Only disappointment was the starters which were all deep fried and lacked a bit of spice/ flavour.Overall a great night and definitely will return.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The service is outstanding! Super friendly, and may I add funny, staff. The food was delicious and the starter on the house (spinach in chick pea dough, the cook’s creation) was sublime. The butter chicken I ordered comes in as a good second on my list of tasting the dish around the world.10/10

It was our first time here and was blown away! Such a homey happy atmosphere, where the owners make you feel tight at home! The wild mushroom curry was amazing. New favourite curry spot in Cape Town and such a treat!

Needed a mid-week pick-me-up and jetted off to a firm fave the Curry Club *not sure why all slanted pics, must've felt artsy?Midweek always less rowdy, staff on point as always and curries hit home.Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala, couple of garlic naans, Jeera potatoes and we were happy campers. If you haven't been it's worth a look, quite possibly one of the best curry houses in town with one or two places that do a slightly better version of a particular dish- but overall best in show all round, quirky decor and great seasonal special dishes, like the exotic mushroom curry and swordfish curry last night. Also no licence so BYOB. Aweh!

Staying nearby, I came to the Curry Club for lunch after some exploring. Friendly welcome, sat outside, and enjoyed chicken samosas to start (after fried spinach leaves appetiser), followed with goat curry and rice, which was especially good, really tender meat, and a rich, thick gravy. No alcohol license, but a sweet lassi hit the spot! Would recommend eating here!

We haven’t found a better venue so far in Cape Town for all your curry dishes. Every meal has been perfect and the good banter with the owner will have you in a great mood if you aren’t already. Just remember this isn’t a licensed venue so take your own liquor with you but all mixes and water are available to purchase.
