My employer bought a laptop during lockdown but the laptop was never sent. We then requested a refund. They promised a refund but we never received it. They took our money and after numerous requests still have not responded. Only use them if you are willing to gamble away your money. I am very happy for the lucky customers who did receive something for their money

Bought a high spec laptop, demo model, and that was fine. It was advertised as having a 3 year warranty which put me at easy. Then, a few months after the purchase, the integrated camera becomes problematic, leading me to look for a repair partner as its still under warranty, or so I thought. Turns out they didn't extend the warranty to 3 years, and now its out of its standard 1 year warranty. I contacted the number I had for them, and they said they processed it and it will take 5 working day, and I haven't heard from them since, or been able to get hold of them. And no warranty extension was every processed.

One star is too much for these guys. They don't deserve not even half a star. I have had a very bad experience with the Laptop Shop. It has been so bad even up to now, I have not received the laptop or my refund. If you have to tread with them, chances are that they will not deliver to your expectation or will not deliver the product at all.I started engaging them in April 2020 to order a laptop which I urgently needed for my work. The then Web Sales Manager called Jay (Not sure if it is the real name) was attending to me and assured me that I would receive the Item in 5-7days. But I waited in vain. I was taken from one story to the other. From the shipping company having issues to the product being out of stock. I gave them a benefit of a doubt as it was during level 5 and level 4 lockdown. As time went on, levels changed to one, there were still stories. These are people who don't give the customer feedback, who do not return calls and expect you to call them. They rarely respond to emails or WhatsApp messages. To cut the long story short, i asked them to refund the money I paid. Again it was stories of approval and accounts department not remitting.It was not until February 2020 when I received a call from another person called Shaun who claimed to be the owner of the company and was no longer working with the previous guy called Jay. He assured me that as the owner of the company he would take the responsibility to refund me and then deal with his former employee. Trust me people, the so called owner of company has taken me into one story that leads to . He even asked me for my account details, but to no avail. He begged me to remove the review on Hello Peter and google review. He has stopped picking my calls or responding to my WhatsApp messages. You can tell that he reads them and chooses to ignore.Next month, this issue will be turning one year and I will not give up on my hard earned money. The problem is that these people think we owe them the money when we choose to buy from them. Yet they are forgetting that we equally work hard and budget to procure the items from them. If there is anyone out there who can help me retrieve my money, please inbox me.

Ordered a laptop from the laptop shop and I am based in Pretoria and I needed it for work urgently .My work laptop had given up on me and I was about to lose my job ,I was informed about the overnight shipment which I then opted forI would have given them a five star had the unit arrived the following day , although I had received the tracking and confirmed with postnet .However communication was at par with the rest of the services I was more than happy and satisfied with them I will surely be buying again from themThank you laptop shop and team for saving my job

My first two purchases with them were 4 and 5 star ratings. My third purchase was a shambles. Here are my key tips with doing business with them:- Arrange before hand you want to unbox laptop infrom of them. Did this first two times and was happy with purchases.- Dont expect ANY HELP when returning products.- Their products arent that bad.. but expect your keyboard to have two or three keyboard keys not work perfectly in 2/3 months time.These guys are cheap - and you get what you pay for. Products are a 50% hit or miss (over the longer term).The following are minor issues, and you should be able to excuse them. Dont expect:- your charging cables to work properly / or perfectly fit (test them when unboxing, my mistake),- backlit keyboards as advertised,- all drives to be properly installed when you receive it

One star is too many stars. The experience with them was shocking to say the least.I ordered a demo model MSI notebook . Even though it was a demo model it did not come cheap. It arrived in dodgy packaging and I was to ashamed to tell people that it was my son's new notebook. Then after opening it we discovered that it had a crack in the one corner and it was glued. This was not disclosed upon the purchase of the machine.They then replaced it with an Asus which too had it's own troubles and I decided that I'd rather get a refund.This was such a mission. The manager wass never available. He either had to attend to an emergency" which lasted the whole day

I bought a dell xps from them Last 2days and received it today and I am very happy with it. I was a bit worried when I saw negative reviews here AFTER placing my order but Miles kept in communication with me all the way. I can't speak for other people but my experience with them was satisfactory.

A friend just had a nightmare experience with these guys. Smooth talkers, and they might sell some good deals, but based on her experience I wouldn't touch them. The machine delivered was different (ok slightly but significantly) to the one she thought she was getting. Then trying to get hold of someone to resolve the issue was just about impossible. They promised to phone back so many times and never did. She eventually got a refund but it took weeks and was a dreadful experience.

I would have given them 5star had the laptop arrived earlier but from my understanding it was beyond their control as it was postnet’s fault ,as I had received my tracking number as soon as they confirmed my payment also packaging wasn’t the best but all well that’s not an issue in regards of customer care , communication was exceptional even exceeded my expectations as I was a bit varied based on some of the reviews .The laptop it’s self was in an immaculate condition flawless very happy with the laptop shop and my purchase thank you laptop shop and team. You will hear from me again

Improper business procedures, false advertising.My daughter recently purchased a machine from them. She was promised a return after it turned out not to meet the advertised specifications. No invoice has been provided, despite being requested. The accountant" has been "instructed" (by Nigel) to pay the refund
