Tips:- Arrive early to get some snacks (limited selection) - seems like you can bring your own as well.- Try to grab a seat between Door 1 and 2, or 2 and 3 ideally. We watched the Christmas show, but I reckon the format and direction should be similar.Liked:- Venue & parking - beautiful, well kept.- Presenter - clear, easy to hear and pleasant voice.- Very unexpected - they actually waited before starting the show until all the guests arrived.- One can see the horses are in perfect condition and the trainers know their stuff.- Ability to go see and feed the horses beforehand and afterwards.Disliked:- Music - very disjointed, just often jarring (overheard others mention it as well).- A misperception of what to expect - the show basically consists of a demonstration and information session of the beautiful horses and their lineage. It has an interesting insert showing some of the skills horses perform that were used in battles in the past. Basically only the last 10 minutes or so really had the choreographed 'dance' with the horses I had expected most of the show to be.- Feels like a 1 hour show, stretched to span 1 h 40 min.Still, a nice outing, especially for families.

Rather dissapointed. It was advertised as a 2 hour long show where you could watch them dance to tunes" But it ended half an hour early and all we saw was how far each horse and rider had progressed with training. There was no actual show."

Very uncomfortable place (you sit on a wooden bench with no support for your back). The routines they do are surely quite difficult, but it's not really a show. It was clear that the they do the same things as always just with different music in the background. So to call it a Mamma-Mia show for mothersday only because they play some Mamma Mia music is a bit misleading. The whole show is very slow and consists of a lot of talking and basic stuff as well. It's something i would go watch if one of my relatives was performing at the show. But for people who don't have a previous connection to the place, I can't recommend it. It's just too boring and too amateur (concerning the show concept, not nessecarly the riding and hose training skills) to be worth the trip, because as a viewer you can't really appreciate the difficulty of what they are doing. You only see the horses walking around a bit differently than usual. While this is an extreme achievement on the side of the horses and riders, it is still boring to watch, because to the lay person, it's just horses walking around.

Dancing through the Decades with these beautiful animals. Loved having information about the history of the breed and their journey to Cape Town. So glad they're now so close by, and look forward to visiting again soon.
