Such a gorgeous hidden gem! Loved EVERY ASPECT of this magnificent getaway & these modern cottages. Not only is there more then enough fire wood to keep your hot tub going all day everyday. You'll also get to enjoy a stunning 6km hike through a friendly neighbouring farm. To top it off we enjoyed a bottle of bubbles while staring up at the starry night sky and soaking up the tranquility that this place offers.

Absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful scenery of what seems like never-ending mountains and abundant fynbos, whilst listening to the birds chirping - serene and peaceful. The cottage was more beautiful than we imagined, modern and chic, and well-equipped with everything you need. The fireplace and outdoor shower were definitely some of our favourite features, with the hot tub taking the top spot! We took our mountain bikes and cycled on the farm and all the way to the rock pool - a tough route but totally worth it!Ruan and Cobus were incredible hosts, they were attentive and kind throughout our interactions with them.In short - a magical experience. We will definitely be back!

One of the most stunning getaways that we’ve ever experienced and the design we instantly fell in love with! Industrial look meets modern luxury in a breathtaking natural setting with 360 degrees view. Only joy and relaxation, so peaceful and idyllic - the mountains, the fynbos, the birds and the privacy. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail were top notch and we also appreciated how well thought-through/equipped everything was. Would love to stay there forever.

We have stayed at SUIDSTER twice and can declare that it is hands down our favourite get away cabin in the Western Cape. We love the fact that it is hidden away and the 360 degree views of fynbos and the surrounding mountains is rejuvenating to the soul.The design and layout of the cabin is perfect to bring the beauty of the surrounding environment inside. The fusion of industrial and luxury decor makes you feel perfectly at home and relaxed.The cabin is fully equipped to prepare your favourite meals and coffee ;) and is completely off grid. The closed combustion fireplace warms up the entire cabin and makes you feel as snug as a bug on the cold winter nights.There is a beautiful wooden deck with comfortable outside seating and an outdoor braai. Plenty of fire wood is provided.One of the highlights is the KolKol wood-fired hot tub on the deck. We love spending our late-afternoons in the tub watching the breathtaking views and change of colours as the sun goes down - all while sitting in nature amongst fynbos with only the sound of the birds.

Never come here, please! I need to ensure I always have a booking available. The view, the cleanliness, that layout - just absolutely stunning.Side note - do not trust Google maps.As you exit Montagu take the right turn onto “suidster/twistniet”, follow the road past the farmhouse, at the y fork on the road take a right turn (by the gate), through the security gate accessible with your emailed code and then enjoy the rest of the stay!Google maps will take you through a neighbouring farms vineyard, only recommend if you have a bakkie/4x4 yet you will not arrive by your destination.

The breathtaking views, the privacy, the tranquillity... everything about the location is beautiful! The cottage itself had everything we needed. I loved the Fynbos trail and the fact that I could bring my dog along! Suidster is an absolute gem and we'd love to return!

This was a proper rest & privacy without having to drive “forever”, also very conveniently close to visit Barrydale or Montague for a light lunch or Cellar visit, whatever you enjoy. The owners have thought of everything and enough wood to keep the braai, fireplace @ steam tub going for a month! Well done.

We are currently staying at Suidster and loving every bit of it. It is absolutely stunning, great service and nature shows off on a daily basis, the whole day.Bring some good food, great wine a book.

Highly recommended cottages! The views from the cottage are out of this world, they are very well equipped with everything from a full functioning kitchen area to an indoor and out door shower, an indoor bath tub and an outdoor wood fired hot tub. Very helpful friendly hosts, a great running / walking trail and overall we think good value for money. All in all, if you want a venue to escape from it all and just soak in the beauty of nature, this is a great place to do it!
