Phumobala Lodge

It is located in the northern part of kzn. They cater for most events. Your weddings, conferences, holiday vacation. It has lots of fun and great views. You won't regret booking with them.

This is one of the worst places for accommodation or to hold a function. The gallery/pictures on the website are decieving... The place itself is terribly managed.The place cannot be easily accessed - There are no visible signs from the road. There is a small and steep pathway full of sand at the entry point ( muddy when it rains and slippery when dry) Our car got stuck trying to exit the place.There is a night club next door with traffic using the same pathway - you can imagine the chaos...The room designs are obscured... no proper hygiene and cleanliness, no hot water in some rooms... no complimentary room products.. old rigid bath towels.. breakfast was terrible... I can go on...The admin lady tried her best to assist but the owner has no business in being in the hospitality space with that kind of service...

I have a very bad experience with this place. Electricity is on and off, water is on and off. Television with blurry pictures, no wifi. Path to the lodge is bad,

Iv checked in today.... there's a police van which has dogs in it, the rooms are beautiful but I wasn't given a toilet paper, shower soap and I got only 1 towel. The TV is installed very low and its pictures are bad its like you are back in 1994 on analogue, no remote handed to me so u constantly have to stand up and change channels manual. Network : its 2023 but still they have NO WIFI available jerrrr!!! The driveway is extremely bad they must put either a paving. Website : don't use chrome for directions youll get lost like us rather call them and hope it will get through but mine didnt so i had to ask around for directions. Their website pictures will deceive you. What you see it's not what ull get.

Terrible place ,service is poor .no backup power supply .employees are forever terrified of the owner ,has big potential to be the best if running properly

Very very very bad your water was dirty, but your food was nice

On arriving at the place I became aware that gossip is a culture there.I was stared at and openly laughed at. Called a moffie even. Lord.The place houses off duty officers and supports dangerous levels of intolerance.If you are in anyway other, don't go there. You will have a horrific time.They pollute exquisite river with plastic and rubbish that doesn't get cleaned by the myriad members of staff.They took my money, sold me lazily made food and stole my blue kudu socks.Wow.Mr Khumbule, maybe next time don't marry the manager. She's barely there and shady as a bat.The cops should not be associating themselves with such a system. I felt deeply uncomfortable throughout my stay.I was sent a bogus email address when I asked for my money to be returned to me.2.1KD.o.CTAnt20 22

Road to the entrance of lodge needs to be fixed Urgently........

Pathetic experience. I will never forget that place. I looked for the owner, called him and he never returned my calls. It is corrupt to quote for the offerings that your establishment cannot make. It is rude not to respond to your guests who have complaints. I wouldn't touch that breakfast. Those who did in my group regretted it. The only time I can book Phumobala is when there is nothing else to do and I fear to sleep on the streets. I was so disappointed. The behaviour of this establishment needs to be condemned.
