The best service available.The time to renew drivers license was within a hour.At 75 years old i was instructed in Richards Bay to join the que at 3-30 in the morning and hope that I will be with in the 50 for renewal of license.Thanks for Empangeni

Suggestion for quick customer service there must be someone who asked people on the que what they want to do so that they let them know about required documents before even if they get into the office so that they dont waste time in que not knowing that they will turn them back at least if you know documents that is required while in the que you will go right away to go and get those documents required, we are in covid situation we need to make sure people are not spend long hours waiting to be assisted

Service fairly quick but the place is terribly shoddy and dirty. A coat of paint and some repairs wouldn’t kill them.

I've been here for renewal of drivers licence, the service is great guys and had a great assistance by Snr Provincial Inspector BS July, a great guy. 5 star service. Im happy.

The staff is very helpful and I was able to renew my license in less than a hour. Make sure to bring your own eye test since they no longer do them at the traffic department.

There is no organisation in the departments. The same person reviews people have the correct paper work, and also takes fi get prints, photo and land the application form. This means that this person is constantly disturbed by people wanting to collect forms and ask if they have correct paperwork. If there was just one more staff member to do one or other of these tasks the public would be delt with faster and the two hour wait would be greatly reduced. It just takes a little planning.
