Paid for a spare key for my VW Polo, never received it. After being told by them that its my problem not theirs, I raised a complaint with headoffice. The next day the manager of Bellville Barons called me with a rotten attitude explaining to me that its my problem they never gave me the product I paid for and not them. Stay away from Barons Bellville at ALL costs. They are a bunch of thieves.

I recently made my 2nd purchase at Barons Bellville with Stewart. From the get go he was informative and willing to assist wherever he could. His sound knowledge of the vehicle specifications was remarkable. He remained in contact through out the entire process, right up to driving off the showroom floor. His customer service is world class and I will definitely recommend Stewart and Barons Bellville should you be looking at purchasing a vehicle. He is absolutely an asset to the company. I had problems with my brakes for months - it made the scariest noise. Something didn't feel right. I brought my car in over and over, but I was told everything was just fine. My husband even tried and went for a drive with one of the staff members. Nothing was ever wrong, according to them.Then we had a problem on the N1 - struggled to brake. I'm back at this place and SURPRISE! - my maintenance plan simply won't pay because it had just expired.I am going to have to fork out now because they discovered that the brakes are worn out.I complained and was assured that someone would get back to me. Of course, that didn't happen.I am terribly upset sitting here having to listen to staff (one burly guy in particular) swearing on the phone about load shedding or something.I will have to take this further, but I do advise you not to bring your vehicle here. There are some nice staff members, but I am not here for a sweet smile, a cup of coffee or popcorn.

I would rate you higher and Johan was excellent and understanding.Really disappointed in VW with the way they introduced the new caddy to the SA market. MQB punted but NO options available. Just the standard old configs with a few bells and whistles

Requested a lift to my work place after dropping my car. Cool got it. There was 3 of us to be dropped. One tygervalley wat wat….2 min from Barons.Me tygerberg hospital. And other lady zavenwatch mall.The driver refused to drop me 1st i mean tygerberg is a stone thrown away than kuilsriver.He was talking about how he will be stuck in traffic going back to his office cause he has other clients to pick up…..i guess i was no body.Even told him m rushing for a meeting and the lady was chilled did not seem sh was in a rush.Even if she was y must i accompany people going far from where i work?With fail for being dropped witout this trip i asked if he can just drop me then i uber my self….he refuse saying i make his life hard and went in to Kuilsriver with me by force….i can say that is force because i did not want to take that journey..The handing in of my car was easy the guys outside were very nice.This is the last time i am requesting a lift. I rather request uber or take day of and seat while you guys service my car. Cause this was unacceptable!

We took our VW Caddy in for its Timing belt service, as we thought taking it to the agents would be the right decision. Turns out we were very wrong. We asked them to check out the water pump while they were there and replace it if need be. Based off their recommendation they decided to not replace it. Not even one week later the water flange ruptured, resulting in the van needing to be sent back to them on a flat bed at our cost. We gave them the benefit of the doubt. This week the water pump broke, luckily we were not too away far from Barons. We offered to pay for a new pump, which we thought was more than fair. They want to charge us for the labour as well. Ridiculous.

I never do this but honestly you are working on people’s cars.Took my car to them consecutively for 2 services and complained about my brakes making a noise. Frank told me that it’s normal due to fluid used that results in that sound. After my second service the noise was even worse. I suspect because my kilometre were less that 30k contributed to it being ignored.2 months after my service my car wouldn’t start prompting me to call roadside assistance.I just collected my car from NTT who did my annual service and wow. They assessed my breaks, found nothing wrong and simply cleaned out the break dust. THE SOUND IS GONE. COMPLETELY. Such a basic thing that seemed too much for Barons.DO BETTER.

They really want to take care of you. Amazing customer service. From the service desk to the managers these guys are amazing. Make sure you book. And have an SMS re: your appointment.
