I had a bad experience here. Was promised parking which was not available and as a result was forced to carry a carload full of valuables (I was relocating) to the room at 10:30pm in the rain and dark. Owner assured me via whatsapp that the parking was safe but while I was moving my stuff to the room I was being harassed by homeless people asking for money. Then needed to repack it all (again in the rain) the following morning.Rooms are in fair condition. Bedding, linen and bathroom great but carpets really need to be cleaned in the main room. Also there is no closing door between the toilet and the bedroom so be aware of privacy issues with that.

Hi, I was in Cape Town from the 25-29/10 and I felt at home. Everybody (including Shannon) went out of their way to make feel welcome. I just wish them all of the best for the future.

Thanks for replying to my rating before I commented! No nonsense very acceptable guesthouse. Prices very variable depending on which room you take. Short stay prices are fair, long stay prices are a bit over the top and better van be found very close by if you look.If you are needing access to the mediclinic Constantiaberg for a short stay you won't find closer. Why 3 star? Everything essential is there and works. EXCEPT THE FREE WIFI which is so poor and ineffective it may as well not be there. Add to this that cellphone and 3G reception in the area is abysmal, communicating from here is a serious challenge.4 star needs attention to detail.. this is lacking.. note the following. There was no light at the guest security gate. I see it has now been fixed or switched on. It was impossible to find the keyhole in the dark and the latch wants to guillotine fingers. There is a tree over the gate which means you have to bushclear everytime you want to exit.. I confess to breaking a branch so it didn't get stuck in the gate when trying to close it.Then the cute heart shaped soap dish at the shower fills up with water and will turn your soap to mush. There are other minor issues which you need to observe before you progress to 4 star. Attention to detail makes the difference. The professional photographs posted here certainly show off the accommodation way better than seen in daylight! That said, The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed and traced. Generally a very acceptable stay.
