I love this restaurant. It's become one of my favorite restaurants, but the communication between the servers during peak hours needs to improve. We waited about 10 minutes for a waiter to come to us, although the waiters themselves are amazing and friendly. Food is out of this world. If you are going over a weekend, do yourself a favour and book, especially if you want verandah or garden seats(trust me, you want it).

Wonderful experience.It's a nice family-friendly restaurant. Good value for money. I highly recommend this place for weekend midday meals.There's a wine cellar and a grocery store here with fresh produce.

Apart from the excellent fare, superb service, pleasant and friendly staff, fresh produce, wide range of fabulous pantry fare, they actually care about their customers.I accidentally left some important documents in my trolley. It was after hours so I wrote a mail. Returned first thing the next morning to see that Benjy at the front desk had them safely for me to collect.We stayed for breakfast and at least three other staff members asked me if I got my docs.Five stars to the team. Thank you.

Love the ambience of the place but the food fell short. We were a party of 6 - there for my son's birthday lunch and the mains were just disappointing.One ordered a medium steak, most of it was raw and sent back because it wasn't edible. Waiter offered to put it back on the fire but the service had been a bit slow and the appeal to wait and keep eating was lost.Three of us ordered the duck - the skin wasn't crispy, fat was raw and some parts either under or overcooked...The pizza was basic and if bacon was wasn't added to the pasta it would have been bland - even the egg over the pasta was overcooked. Sigh.The deli has a wide selection of imported goods and special treats.If I could give the chocolate swirl cake 5 stars separately, I would! That was perfection.Enjoyed the garden-to-table vibe, staff was friendly, including the car guards... Sadly, the food made it a low vibrational experience.

This is a hidden gem. The food was excellent and he beers were great and nice and cold. The service was very good. The delli inside is well stocked with awesome foods and spices etc. Definitely a must visit.

Absolutely outstanding in every way. Scenery. Food. Service. Deli. Staff go above and beyond. Tonnes of parking. And ! - DOG friendly! Its always lovely to drive out of the hustle and bustle of Jozi but it's even better to do so when your fur baby can come along. Staff were so warm and welcoming to my dog too. ✨

Maybe my expectations were too high, but this place was disappointing. The food was decent, drinks were okay, dessert was really not good. Service unimpressive.

A pleasant experience. Food and service were good not exceptional as we had expected. The atmosphere was good and we sat amongst the herb garden which was very pleasant. They use fresh herbs in their cooking on a daily basis. The vegetables were okay but were slightly burnt. The lamb chops was okay so was the steak. My guest complimented the butter chicken she had and the risotto with lamb was fairly good. We visited their in store after lunch and found they were quite expensive.
