We had a wonderful weekend at the resort. We wanted peace and tranquillity and it is just what we received. It was so amazing to see the passion Mike and Diane have for underprivileged people from all walks of life. Thank you so much for the experience. Marius & Karin.

Not much shade in the day time area, also the only shade area is near the water and tends to fill up with many other people.Very friendly and welcoming place

This peaceful and tranquil. No swimming pool though. The ablution and shower facilities can do with a face-lift. Also, no power outlets, which isn't a problem for fanatical campers. There is power just next to the ladies showers, so with an extension cord, one can power the critical gadgets for a while. Power isn't really a problem for me. The local residents include zebra and some antelopes which roam freely.

I wish I could give a 0 star!What a BAD EXPERIENCE.The place is DIRTY, not maintaned, the grass are higher than the trees.Lapa sheds are broken and left like that without even making an attempt to repair.Animals not properly looked after.I will never recommend this place.No value for money.

Any venue at Haarties is always risky when fishing. The hyacinth can come into your area at anytime. We were unlucky that the wind was not in our favour this trip and cut the fishing time down quite a lot. Towards the evening it cleared up nicely and we managed to do what we went there for. A bad day fishing is still better than most days

Not very big but a nice place to relax with the family. Fishing is allowed - catch and release. Facilities to braai. Toilet facilities were ok, needs a few more. Entrance is R20 a car and R50 per person. Kids under 12 are free.

This is not a resort it's just a park to chill and have a Bry. Going there we were excited but it was so disappointing. There's nothing to be excited about except seeing the animals. There is so much they can do to improve but so far their resort is very lousy

Nice and quiet but not very clean. All the dust bins and fireplaces were full of rubbish. Maybe it is new ownership and they are still busy sorting everything out. Will check it out again in a month or two to see if things improved.

Schoemansville Resort
No lights inside or outside as led to believe in our accommodation, others had lights. Nothing was done to assist while we were there. Left day earlier as grand child got sick and did not want to struggle in dark while it was raining yet another day.
