Car Service City - George

Terrible service. A large job has been done on my car. The very next day after I got my car back, I discovered strange noises coming from the front suspension. I took the car back when they informed that something else is now wrong. They quoted me on additional parts and labour. I have decided to go for a second opinion when I was informed that nothing is wrong or broken, but I was informed that only bolts were loose which they fixed for me on the spot without any cost. After this the notice disappeared. I went back to George from car city service and informed him about the situation but he insisted that they did not make any mistakes and that the parts still needs to be replaced. He did not accept any reposnibility for the faulty work done and keep persisting that I am at fault and that the second opinion is incorrect even though the problem itovthe noice were fixed. The back suspension dropped and he refused to acknowledge that there is still a problem.

Do the service on my bakkie and their prices are reasonable

Single worse experience with a service provider ever.I hate being the ranty bad reviewer. But man this was just a joke.They had my car for just about 4 months. 90% of all communication about repair progress and timeline updates was initiated by me. 1st time i received my car it smoked, sounded like a tractor and they didnt plug in the windscreen wipers back in making it dangerous to drive. They told me that Diesel engines normally smoke" even though it never did before. Then after deciding to go with a full engine overhaul they didnt even communicate with the insurance company the day i went to pick it up

Had a service done on a previous car. In the next few weeks, strange noises started coming from the front suspension and check engine light returned. Phoned them to ask what's wrong. Apparently, this is normal. According to them, I only needed to drive the car more. I took it to another service provider where multiple faults were found.Fast forward a few weeks ago. Thought I might take my car for a service. All other service providers are fully booked except for this one. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy, do I regret my decision. 2 days later, about 12 km outside of town, the car started vibrating. It was so bad that I had to return and call them asking what's going on.. Apprently, I drove through cold water while the brakes were hot!? The car stood in a garage, and it never touched a wet surface since it left your shop.This is the second time when I, as a lay person, can call a bluff on your excuses.Please, don't be as stupid as I was. Avoid this place. Take this from someone who was twice bitten once shy.

Details of diagnostic test were only handed to me the next day after fault which they were supposed to fix popped up again
