Dis-Chem Baby City Faerie Glen

Had a very bad experience with the baby shower boxes. Firstly not packed from the trolley when guests need to pick gifts(they picked gifts from the trolley). The box was then removed the day after the baby shower without notification, the excuse being they need to make space for new boxes, while there are 6 empty boxes. Then I receive a phone call 2 weeks later from an employee, asking if the box can be removed. What a joke! Never using or refering this shop again!

Difficult to find anything in the store and no assistants to help. The queue to pay was very long and slow. Security at exit was also very slow. Have a good variety of baby and toddler items though.

Trading hours are incorrect. They close at 14:00 on Sundays. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing time and were literally chased out the shop. Terrible customer service. Will not be returning to this shop.

Excellent range of products at competitive prices. Very good service from floor staff who are knowledgeable about product range. Besides general medication on script it has wide range of health products featuring all major brands.

Lousy service. Difficult to find help, the products (especially car seats, travel systems and cots) have zero information on them, forcing you to ask some staff. The staff always seems bored and not really helpful. Complaints go to a really useless manager who isn't afraid to fight with you.They get one additional star because they are the cheapest in town!

Good range of products but customer service is shocking. Even when a product is purchased with holes and dirty marks they make you a refund difficult. Staff have no idea about customer service or just general manners.

They had a sale in May and I used their online platform to buy a chest of drawers and a bath station. Days later the Faerie Glen branch calls me to tell me that they will be handling my order but they don’t have both items in stock. How? Don’t you have a system? Anyway, they tell me they have to get the drawers from the manufacturer and they will try to see if they can get the bath station from other stores and if they can’t they will refund me.Two weeks later I’m promised the deliver of the drawers and my refund for station. Can you believe I have not received my money yet? This is after they had told me the refund has been processed. How? Without asking for my bank details? It was only days later that they asked for them and promised that I will receive it in 3-5 days. My baby is here and still no refund and no bath station. I am furious and disappointed. On top of that Ntokozo and the careline are ignoring my emails. What kind of scam are you running?

Good variety & prices, but service at this branch is shocking. Saturday morning at the end of the month and only one staff member on the floor and one cashier.

Inefficient gift registry system and bad return policy. I had a number of duplicate items and then they tell me they won't accept some because they might be discontinued, like how is that my problem?
