The Russel Guesthouse

There was this one tall lady who was very unprofessional and full of attitude, she was mistreating guests. We were given 3 dirty towels whereas we are 4 guests, the dish towels don’t look good.

Jasmine and her team are such proffesional people. Extra clean and tidy place. Breakfast is delicious. I would recommend The Russel house without hestitation.

The place is neat and nice. Their bathroom is very small though I had to squeeze myself to the toilet. The room was very cold and the small wall heater didn't do justice I believe air-conditioning will do.I didnt like the attitude of the receptionist though, had no charger I borrowed charger from my colleagues and I told her they will be fetching it. When they came she had locked the main door and that she told me I don't need a gate code. I dont know maybe she thought I will bring one of those colleague to sleep in my room or what. I felt so imprisoned.

The place is friendly and you can have a good BBQ at night with who run the place, MaxIf you sleep here is because you want to live Sardinia Beach and try out all activities. Good restaurant in 2 minutes drive facing the ocean. and beautiful Pies 500 m walk, cheap and amazing meat in it, really miss them.Anyway, what I want to say, don't complain too much about the place, is clean and nice wood porfume in rooms.I only slept there and had a nice night with other guests from countries all sharing food and stories.Port Elizabeth and nearby is where to stay during the day eat outside, and at night some relaxing chats.

Check in and welcoming by Jasmine was a delight and fast. The pool and braai area is great! Room was perfect! Staff are super friendly and warm! I will definitely return here.

You get what you pay for. It's a nice guest house, looks clean but the cleaning product on the beds smells so strong you struggle with it if you are sensitive to smells. The kitchen also needs a dedicated team of people. It just felt like you're at someone's house and waiting to be served was a bit of a wait and you still had to 'order' the hot breakfast. We also didn't have fresh drinking water. The lady in the kitchen just told us the water is frozen and that was it. The walls are also thin so if you're a light sleeper then you might have an issue. Overall it's an ok spot for the amount you pay.

Good morning I had an awful night. My family and I had no choice but to stay in the room that had roaches I would like my full refund . R801 from my card and then we paid R200 cash. The bedding smelled like urine and the bedding had female hair on it.furthermore there was no extra towels available when I requested or water to drink. the lady said that the water had finished and there were no towels.I unfortunately could not cancel the booking because of the no refund policy, when we arrived with extra guests there was no room for them and I couldn't cancel so we asked to allow us to stay. the showers were cold the roaches in the room the blankets smelled.I'm am a teacher at Curro Holdings from Johannesburg and I understand that these things can happen while I'm appreciate that she accomodated us at 9pm last night we could not cancel this booking.further more she denied us breakfast because we had extra guests. My two kids and husband so a total of 6.I don't understand why she couldn't just let us have water or extra towels. the light switch in the room at the bedside was also damaged when I asked her she seem to know nothing about it.I would like my R1001 back in full I will be taking this to hello Peter immediately.I await your speedy response in this matterI need my full refund.

Bathroom a little bit small. But in totality that’s a beautiful guesthouse. The service is unmatched. The lady at the reception is great and the breakfast was amazing. Loved it and it’s clean
