Fantastic Akhalz with Authentic Wood Fire oven as can be seen in the pictures uploaded with this review.Great service.Amazing Quality.Place is brand new and Next Level Clean!Also place for outside seating.Ful covid compliance all staff wearing masks properly (mouth and nose) with sanitizer at entrance.They will even deliver the food to your car if parked outside.Sanha Halaal Certificate.Cameras visible to staff and customers of entire food preparation.Exactly what Norwood needed.My personal best orders so far:1. Wonder Why Pizza (Fully loaded pizza with chips and all meats)2. Toasted Chicken Mayo sandwich Special (lighter option and on the healthier side)3. Wits Special (classic)

So the famous akhalz has been franchised. It's not as good as the original Mayfair branch but does the job. I found more chips then anything on my steak sandwich. Guys I know u wanna make living but please if it's a steak sandwich put steak not a few pieces of steak and then chips that smothers the sandwich. Personally I will only visit the Mayfair branch. I've had an issue with kelvin and now norwood.

Whilst the front line staff are friendly the actul pizzas where burnt, in paticular the crust , so the whole pizza tasted burnt.

The Iftaar box is such a dissapointment! Absolutely tiny portions. Toasted Chicken was dry and Toasted Steak was served in tiny portions. The server was reluctant to give us condiments with our meal. A rip off and a waste of money. I would not recommend.

Akhalz Norwood is certified Halaal.They menu is extensive and the perfect pick me up to a long week.They have everything from chips to wood oven pizzas.During the week they have a daily special whereby for R50 you get the special of the day plus a drink. ( either a cold drink or water)During the week when the store is not extremely busy the food is really good, however consistency during the busy weekend does very.They are based in a convenient location.You can call in or dine in.The specialize in slaap chips with all the spices.A must try when in need of comfort food.

Deeply disappointed at the unhygienic food prep method! Staff DO NOT wear gloves . Food is placed on the bread with a sweaty hand and then they use the palm to press your food sandwich! Akhalz consider the dirty sweaty hand .. “ better than a food glove”And much cheaper too!Who knows where the hand has been?This is posted purely for purpose of public health safety .

Bought a Chicken AK Roll and KGB pizza. Pizza was really good, and saucy but the AK roll was exceptionally dry... cheese was ice cold and so was the chicken. I recommend the pizza but not the AK Roll.Would ask the norwood team to add a lot more sauce to their food and melt the cheese

I ordered a vegetarian pizza was highly disappointed and cheese samoosas I use to own a pizza place had no flavour soggy ...I just took a bite and it tasted terrible ...
