Clermont lodge

I definitely was not happy with the lodge. I read some reviews from other guests and thought maybe they have improved. But ja they have not. They can do better, painting was bad, TV was small in one of the rooms I booked. Shower need a serious cleaning.

Well it's my fourth night at the place is actually nice, the rooms are bit small but can't complain, it has a shower, cleaned everyday (with your permission to do so), tv and a decoder, parking space (enough for about 4/5 cars), takeaways are sold at the kitchen, Noise coming from the bar ( friday and saturday from 18h00-05h00 but not too loud). I'm definately coming back and I can recommend it without any doubt

The best place ever.It affordable. Friendly staff...the place is neat and clean...Everything is perfect. I wish they can own another lodge in town....My problem was the distance,It's far from the beach.well done Clermont lodge you deserve a trophy

It is pretty nice place to be and it i secure. I have heard that people are complaining about the tavern and i had to go and see for myself. Well i am glad to let you know that, there is no more a tavern. I enjoyed myself.

The location was a surprise. It is in one of the poorer areas in Durban. The lodge itself was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The cooked breakfast option was tried once and not taken again as it had all the elements of a bacon-and-egg breakfast but was cooked earlier on then re-heated in a microwave.(all of it- including the bread that was supposed to be toast). I think that we could have worked around the breakfast by getting the supplies from the lodge and cooking it ourselves.The lodge suited our needs because we were there on a volleyball tournament and needed a cheap place to sleep.

Excellent service and very helpful staff members, despite load shedding atleast they had a generator. I would recommend people to book Clermont lodge. You won't regret it.

It's hotel for hours, we found a used condom in closet, very dangerous neighborhood in the middle of township, can't go outside after dark. Friday and Saturday night you have to be prepared for loud music during whole night. Stuff very friendly and nice. The price wasn't cheap and it's much better to go to the cost to find something better and even cheaper.

Rooms are clean and neat, however decor can be improved. There is a lot of noise as well. Loud music playing. No children's channel on tv, tv very small. No bar fridge in the room. Rooms also need maintenance. It's basically a communal house where you share the bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Rooms are cheap, I suppose you get what you pay for.
