This guys are daylight robberies, they increase my car insurance with R1000 without a discussion and agreeing with me as a client. l phoned asking about this and l was told lm happy to shop somewhere else or l should pay the new set amount. They say this is due to high claims that has been happening. These following characteristics are like cancer in your business Ample Insurance brokers: lack of communication, premium raise without notification and poor customer service.)

This broker has honestly been one of my worst experiences with insurance. I've tried to get a policy through them twice and on both occasions they have provided me with premiums that sound amazing. The catch is that when the insurance company calls for underwriting, there is always some issue. Mostly, they forgot to mention some crucial information that ends up making a huge impact on the premium. On the last attempt they also managed to mis-explain the total excess amount to me.

I switched my policy through this brokerage to Hollard from Discovery insure and discovered it was the worst decision I have made. During the winter I informed the insurance broker of a leakage in my daughter's room. The insurance sent out their assessor and and came back with a lame excuse that it was maintenance and even after submitting documents (upon their request) confirming that we maintained the roof - they still declined to pay out. All the efforts and trouble for nothing. The brokers assured me that they would escalate the matter to the ombudsman and I do not have to worry - needless to say - I never received a response from the brokerage. Very bad service from the insurance and the brokerage - I feel the insurance was just looking for a reason not to pay out and the brokerage did very little to support me.

These are the worst and most incompetent insurance brokers to work with, When a broker from Ample Insurance Brokers calls you, hang up the phone IMMEDIATELY! I basically have no insurance cover due to a mistake made by Mpho Jara, one of their brokers, resulting in no payout for a claim that was raised during November 2022.If you are currently using Ample Insurance Brokers, I kindly advise that you check the contents of your policy or cancel them as your brokers.
