Yes the hotel is old, and yes the rooms are dated, and the carpets are from a previous generation. But what did you expect? A Holiday Inn in a small town like Klawer? It is exactly for these little quirks that I am giving them 5 stars, for the old small town hotel" vibe that they exude that you no longer see with all the corporate places popping up all around. Love it!"

What helpful hosts and a charming hotel. They very much assisted us in a time of need when our car got in an accident near Klawer, even dropping us off at the Engen at 3:30 am in the morning to get to our bus to Cape Town. Staying and resting there meant the world to us and turned an incredibly stressful trip into a enjoyable detour. Thank you

Clean, very friendly and accommodating staff especially Marius who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and special. He even made me food when everything was closed. Really one of the best experiences I have had. Friendly, accommodating, clean. Breakfast was delicious and loved my stay there.

In the middle of nowhere you will find a special place for Bulls rugby supporters. I loved the memrobilias on display. Friendly staff, very helpful, the pizza we had was very filling and very delicous. I definitely recommend this place for the die hard Bulls supporters.
