Nyala Pans River Camp

Beautiful rustic bushveld camp. River guides are exceptional. Festival of white water is definitely something worth being a part of. Treverton College pupils were there and thoroughly enjoyed the raft races.

My daughter went on a field trip to Nyala pans this week. It was a traumatic experience her. The councilors were arrogant and rude. My daughter had thrown up and was having a panic attack and sobbing.. yet Wonda the councilor told her she should worry about the others and not be so self absorbed!! What kind of care giver talks to an 11 year old child like that??? He refused to call her teachers as he said that he will lose his job if he does!! How does this even make any sense??One of the girls had a phone with them.. thank goodness for that .. so I was aware of the incidents that occurred from around 11am right until 4 am!! Do the staff and councilors not have proper training? We pay for the field trip.. so we expect the trip , facilitators etc to be properly trained and compassionate to these little kids who are spending nights away from home.We had to fetch my daughter from Nyala Pans yesterday and she is still so upset.. more about how she was spoken to by the councilor then anything else.I would like to get some feedback from the ownersand facilitators of Nyala Pans and an explanation of why we were not called or even notified of what was going on.

Peaceful place, great outdoor sports, lots of fun you can have around this area. River, animals such as Impala, kudu, Bushbuck, and lots of Birds... Game drives, 4X4 off road driving, and peaceful, therapeutic space.

Fantastic team building experience for our Grade 6 learners. Team leaders were patient, caring and professional. Thank you Rich, for the amazing hospitality!

Beautiful location, great for school trips, white water rafting adventures, etc

Its a very beautiful place full of love and fun the fercilitators are kind and loving there are fun too i love that place it a place i would definitely recommend people to go to .
