I’ve stayed in the South for more than 15 years. I never knew we had such a beautiful place. This place is amazing the facilities are still in good condition, it was really fun hanging around this place. We had so much fun honestly. Next time I’m coming for hiking. I really loved it it was an out of the city experience yet we were in the city. Loved it ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful place to hike/ trail run or just walk with the family. Many routes and detours for every fitness level. Beautiful morning out in nature amidst the city life!Toilets are fair and of municipal standard but have experienced worse. Overall wonderful place!

The accessiblity of this venue is a wonder, as you are able to enter free of charge. The birds and the animals are exciting to see, and the trails provide the perfect amount of challenge for us. Occasionally, we worry for our safety, but have never had an incident.

Great place if you appreciate the beauty of nature. You quickly forget that you are in busy Johannesburg.Different trails are appropriate to various fitness levels. You even get to climb the hills if you dare following the red trail ftom the gate area.Just perfect for outings with family, friends and corporate team building events.Restrooms and a small shop offering drinks and snacks can be found at the entrance area.

Entrance is free. Easy walks for kids (toddlers) to tag along as well.The steep hills are a bit challenging but nothing too overwhelming.
