Glen Ormond

A truly magical experience at Glen Ormond for the weekend. Jennifer was an exceptional host who prepares a delicious breakfast. The view is breathtaking and rooms are well appointed and spotless. I've been to many other establishments that left much to be desired with regards to cleanliness, the attention to detail was everything. The cottage has everything one could desire or need for the weekend. Heated towels and complimentary sherry and snacks was the perfect touch. One could really see Jennifer has a passion for hospitality as it shines through in her immaculate place and gracious nature.Definitely worth it to drop by for a much needed break.

Lovely attention to detail in each room, and the cottage felt welcoming. The area is quiet - lovely for a tranquil getaway.

This is little paradise in the Midlands. What a fantastic place. Bed is comfy, accommodation is spacious and well decorated and equipped, the gardens and outside places are simply gorgeous, and the breakfasts are divine. Definitely my recommendation for everyone who likes a tranquil stay over in the Midlands.

A beautiful room in a picturesque setting. It has a gorgeous little fireplace as well as a gas heater. Our hostess was the absolute sweetest. As it was my birthday, my husband arranged with her to make me a delicious bday cake as a surprise . Such a wonderful stay!

A warm and welcoming guest house. Perfect for a weekend away in the midlands.The cleanest, neatest guesthouse I have stayed at. Very well maintained and looked after. Exceptional attention to detail.The place had everything I could have needed and a bit more. The breakfast was perfect.The mushroom pot is a signature item that is included with breakfast.I can confidently recommend Glen Ormond and will hopefully be back soon for another stay.

Lovely place. The location is tranquil. The rooms are neat. I really liked that even during loadshedding we weren't really in the dark. There's rechargeable lights, wifi operating and the gas stove AND the fire place. We were told we may have issues with shower during loadshedding but we found that the water pressure was not really bad. A must repeat.
