We received a warm welcome, and excellent service, topped by a scrumptious, very good priced, lunch. So large, we needed takeaways.Indoor area warm and cosy, with a bar. Lovely outdoors set up for summer meals and sundowners. Pop around, you will not regret it.

Cosy booth inside. Perfect for date night with lovely fires providing warmth and athmosphere. Soft background music. David was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Mervyn provided a blanket for cold legs! I had the Southern Fried chicken burger with a side of chips. The chicken was soft and succulent with just the right amount of spices and crispiness. The chips were, in a word, 'LEKKER'! Not these limp and unenthusiastic floury flash frozen specimens you are sometimes exposed to these days, but real potatoes; light and crispy and not greasy at all. Perfect chippies, I kid you not! A Lovely full bodied piping hot cappuccino rounded off my meal most pleasantly. Well priced value for your Rand. A fully licenced and certainly family friendly venue with big screen rugby/sport, surrounded by pleasant 'gesels vuurtjies' and a jumping castle for the anklebiters. Yep! They called it...'Ruslamere, a good place to be'. See you again soon Fire Craft.

Food was extremely disappointing, apart from the arancini starter. The 350g shortrib was mostly fat and came with the absolute worst chips I have ever been served. The chips were all end cuts and poorly fried. They were chewy and hard at the same time. The salmon caused food poisoning. The caramelised banana that came with the waffle was bruleed using a torch, and it resulted in an acrid, gassy taste. The brownie was dense and tasteless. The ice creams that accompanied the desserts were good. The quality of food served and the price paid for said food is a terrible waste of money.A person in senior management, referred to as Ma'am" by staff

Not a lot of dog friendly places out there but this one is worth it. Good food, friendly staff, cold beer and awesome atmosphere. They even have bands playing there.

Absolute phenomenal experience at Rusty Oak Bistro today. It was My Mum's 60th Birthday and altogether we were about 30. From preparations over emails and calls from Ashleigh (Manageress) to going through to the venue to set up earlier - Fantastic customer service! There was honestly no fault. The food was divine, music perfect, our waitress Nicole was just perfect! She ran around so much for us making sure every single person was happy with drinks and food. I am coming back to Rusty Oak Bistro for my 30th Birthday in August and I just cannot wait! Thank you so much from myself, My Family and all our Friends! 5/5 Everything!

The restaurant inside is beautiful and modern, the outside section is very relaxed and laid back, so depending on what you are looking for you have two date options. Staff were super friendly and the crumbed mushrooms were extremely tasty. The pizza was unfortunately a bit bland and not very tasty which was a pity.

This restaurant doesn’t even deserve a star. Went to the Rusty Oak restaurant for Mother’s Day and was seated by the lady at the front, once we were seated we were then confronted by another server telling us they could not serve us after waiting half an hour for a menu. Because of our unhappiness they then changed their minds to serve us but then told us it would take an hour and a half to get our food when the restaurant wasn’t even full. Terrible service. Terrible management. So disappointed with this restaurant and will not be back.

New spot to have a beer, brekkie, burger or best pizza. Mervyn our host was on point at all times. We also met Rayne who gave us the full monty of what Fire Craft Restaurant is all about.
