A beautiful and incredible place, with special secret waterfalls and beautiful hiking scenery! Definitely a place to stop by if you are passing through Lydenburg.

We stayed at Rookat... Very rustic. No electricity... Only hot water is from a pipe lying on a roof. Possible plans to install a donkey. The reserve itself is awesome.

Went there for birdwatching, but there is only a 3hr hike available. No self drive or any other available place to do birdwatching, other than at reception. Not worth the drive, unless you are going for the hike.
