I called for someone to come out and take a look at my faulty dishwasher in December 2022 and I'm still waiting for them to call me (6 months later). Pathetic service.

STAY AWAY!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!We bought three appliances a Phillips Iron, Smeg kettle and Karcher vacuum cleaner. All 3 appliances we took back because it was faulty. Then we get there just before closing time and get attitude at the door. Saying you have the whole day to come and now you come when the shop closes!"How dare you allow your low customer driven staff speak to anyone walking through the door like that????ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! SELL your customers appliances that work so that they never have to return to your store!We will never put our foot in your overcrowded store again!"

Excellent service from both Aziza & Rene of the Green Point branch all 3 times I've ordered. A washing machine, fridge, freezer & 3 rechargeable fans. And great after sales service when I had an issue.

They handled a warranty return very well. It was either going to be customer negligence or a flawed part, but they didn't hesitate one bit to replace the broken part. Great after sales service. That is what it is all about. Many other companies would have refused the return and just blamed it on the customer. All the staff I have dealt with are very friendly as well.

I recently spent R 169 000 at Tafelberg Northgate and Green Point combined. The TV arrived (from Green Point) and it was cracked, the fridge water filter was leaking and the dishwasher was broken and I had only used it twice. Tafelberg refused to replace any of the appliances. I had to buy a new TV. Items that are brand new should be replaced immediately and not have to be repaired. Three defective items makes me think that Tafelberg is selling defective appliances and refuses to replace them once the defects are exposed. I understand that items that are months old should be repaired, but items that are brand new should be replaced immediately. I seriously think you should consider buying from Takalot of elsewhere where defective items are replaced without question.
