Paid 235 for for a takeout of 8 pieces of calamari with more rice and chips than anything else. Their menu on Mr D is misleading if they intend on giving their customers stater portions at the price of a main they must clearly state the portion sizes.

Wow! Amazing food and great service! Wonderful kids menu - my daughter ordered the steak medallions and they were cooked to perfection. As were our steaks and sides.

An ideal venue, relaxing, quiet, safe and good well priced menue for all taste buds, ie, sea food, steak chicken plus wine list. The staff, waiters are well versed what's on offer and very friendly

Love the new decor... Used to go there years ago.. I don't know if there is a new owner. Well done with the new look.. Love it.. And food absolutely Devine.. All three of us enjoyed our food... Very good idea with the Sunday menu.. Friendly staff.. Good vibes.. You definitely see me again.

I had chosen Atasca in Kensington, Durban North for dinner on the last night of 2018. I was highly impressed with the food selection, quality of food, presentation as well as friendly and informed service from the staff. Excellent vegetarian options as well and a fantastic dessert menu. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Durban area.

Portuguese chicken is awesome- juicy: you can taste the lemon and garlic, without it being overpowered by the chilli-heat.Live music on Sunday is great and adds to the atmosphere ( it just needs to be turned a tad ).Pic is of the 1/2 chicken lunch special

My experience here was ok. We were the only ones at the restaurant during the evening. There was no real atmosphere at all and the meal that I ordered was a very small portion for myself. Expected a bigger portion. May try it again at some point, just very concerned about it thou

There were only 3 tablea occupied in the restaurant. The one was a large table with screaming kids and parents were not controlling their children which definitely had a huge impact on our table of 8. We were celebrating a 22 birthday. The food was nothing to get excited about. The fillet medallions were tough and very thin. It was smothered with mushroom sauce whixh was tasty. The meal was accompanied by a very nice fresh salad. The service was abysmal. The waitron kept forgetting what it was that we ordered. She forgot to bring one guest her starter so guest had to eat the starter alone whilst everyone had finished. The main course was not tasty. The Dom Pedro was average and which I also had to remind the waitron to bring me. The cream brulee was very runny as it hadn't set. . Coffee was OK.
