Stayed at steenbok stone cottages on the Witzenberg guest farm. What a beautiful place to relax. House itself was all you needed. Wife enjoyed the hot tub. The host made sure everything was your home away from home.

Lovely little cottages, in between the mountains i think it can be amazing to go there when it snows. The cottages are very comfortable and clean. the bed in the main room of the cottage number 8 needs an upgrade it was not very comfortable. other than that a beautiful place and great for kids large open grass area to play and lots of farm animals.

What a pleasure. Big rooms, big kitchen and spacious bathroom. Wifi and a pool. Great service and communication before arrival.

We had a wonderful stay. Host was incredibly accommodating. Cottage well equipped & clean. Views are stunning.

Enjoyable and pleasant stay. The chalet was neat and clean. It had the basics to enjoy a comfortable stay. The views are amazing both day and night (starry skies).The kitchen is well equipped with the required dishes, cutlery as well as dish washing soap. There's a microwave, stove and oven and a full sized fridge. Tea bags, coffee, sugar and rusks were provided.The bathroom has a shower. Hand soap and towels are provided.There's panel heaters installed to enjoy a warm and cozy stay. There's also an aircon in the main bedroom. The second bedroom has 2 separate beds. The only issue for me was the bed wasn't soft enough but everyone has their own preferences.We were provided with wood the day we arrived. It was enough for both nights of our stay.The kids enjoyed interacting with the farm animals. Attractions close by that we enjoyed visiting was the Fynbos Animal Sanctuary, Waverly Hills wine estate, the Creative Hub, Fynbos Farm stall, Hillbilly Farm Stall and Bergsig wine estate.There's a MiniMark, butchery and little bakery/convenience store called Kies en Kuier across the MiniMark in Wolseley. The Kies en Kuier has small pies, milk tarts and brownies to name a few at crazy low prices. If you'd like to do more shopping the Spar in Ceres is very well stocked.The hosts are very friendly. Check in and checkout was contactless but if you need anything the hosts are available to assist.Although there's a short gravel road from the main road to the farm, it's an easy road, manageable even by car.

A lovely gem just outside of Ceres. We had a late booking but everything wasready when we arrived. The host came to meet us even though it was late. We booked one night but ended up staying for two. The view is to die for.

Great getawayNeat accomodation with all the necessitiesHot tub is a sure winner.. just sad the chimney a bit dodge causing smoke to fill the patio.Well worth the visit and getting out into nature

Booked a cottage for the long weekend on short notice and was pleasantly surprised. Situated on a working farm, it was wonderful to wake up and watch the sheep, goats, springboks from your stoep whilst enjoying your morning coffee. Situated between Tulbagh and Ceres, you're within 30 minutes from both. The whole family enjoyed the stay and am already looking forward to our next visit.
